My furnace started making strange noises on Sat. I called El Cerrito Heating, and since furnace was working, they scheduled a visit to see what the noise was/ repair for Thur. Great! Then the furnace died. I called on Tues morning, and Rob said he could come by later that day. He came early afternoon, and we both agreed that the furnace was probably about 50 years old, and needed replacement. Gave me a decent estimate for replacement. (I had talked to other companies and had a price range for replacement.) Rob came the next morning with the new furnace. A safer, quieter, and energy efficient furnace. My furnace went out Saturday and I called El Cerrito Heating Monday morning. Rob came out before Noon, diagnosed the problem and was able to locate the part. Rob arrived this morning with the new Induser Assembly and completed the work in a very timely manner. I am very happy with the service and Rob did a great job. This is the coldest winter in memory and I was impressed with how expedient Rob was. He worked hard to get this taken care of quickly in this frigid weather. Thank you Rob. I am so happy with the service and highly recommend El Cerrito Heating.

Furnace stopped working 2 days ago. Spoke to several HVAC contractors yesterday. One couldn't come out for 6 days, another 4 days, and another 2 days with a $500 upfront charge. Got a neighbor's recommendation for El Cerrito Heating last evening. Called this morning. Rob called me back in less than 20 minutes, came out directly, replaced the broken part, and was done 1 hour after I initially called him!He was a very pleasant person, and reasonably priced. After two days without heat, I am so grateful to Rob and El Cerrito Heating for the prompt, professional, honest and reasonably priced service!
