“Too Long; Didn't Read (TL;DR): I woke up with intense right shoulder pain and was not able to raise my arm. I saw a NP and 2 doctors at Kaiser and GS Orthopedics and was told it was a pinched nerve; take some ibuprofen. At the 30 day mark of my arm being non functional, I was lucky enough to be referred to James. In the first 2 minutes of meeting him, he stated I had a dislocated shoulder and put it back in. Enough said.

Schemata Bodywork provides physical therapy treatment and bodywork that is exceptional. James took the time to listen and do a proper evaluation of my body. He listened to my journey to get treatment as I was in intense pain where I felt no one believe me or that I was asking for pain meds. James was the ONLY person who looked at my body to see what was wrong vs do an CT or MRI.

I felt heard and I was listen to. James then told me what he was going to do to get me better and worked on my shoulder, arm, and neck. Coming out of his sessions, I felt my body being able to heal and get better.

If you wanted to be treated with compassion from someone who is knowledgable about the human body (and is constantly learning about it), this is the place to go to get treatment. James is vesting in your health and it shows. Honestly, thank you!“

“I've been seeing the owner, Cindy, for massage for nearly 10 years. She used to work in San Leandro and I followed her to Dublin when she moved there. Her massages are that good! She has a good strong technique and knows how to work out the many knots I have. I've also seen some of the other masseuses that work here, like Kelly. I've never had a bad massage from anyone at Phoenix Flower Spa. I would highly recommend them for a great therapeutic massage!“

“Hands down the best spot in Dublin/Pleasanton/Livermore for men’s and boys’ haircuts if you’re booking with Eric. I’ve been going to him for a few years now, and he always does a great job. Super consistent, always sharp. What really stands out is how great he is with kids too. My boys have asked for Messi and Ronaldo ⚽️ cuts, and somehow Eric makes it happen. “I would never claim that any physical therapist is a miracle worker, but Kevin is basically that. Kevin has been able to work with my pain in a way that no doctor or physical therapist has ever even come close to. With unexplained and excruciating pain for the majority of my life, I only got diagnosed with fibromyalgia a few years ago. Prior to my diagnosis, I had been to 10 or 15 different physical therapists over my lifetime, desperate to find any fix for the debilitating pain I was always in. I could barely walk and it was hard to sleep because of the nerve pain. Most physical therapists didn't know what to do with me. They did not understand why I was so sensitive to sensations and why I was in so much pain when I seemed to be in good health. Doctors and physical therapists have always been unwilling to put in the effort to find something that actually helps me. Well, Kevin is the outlier. He looks at the body holistically and encourages you to tell him your story from your point of view. Though knowing my diagnosis has been helpful to Kevin, I know that even if he wasn't aware of it, he would still be a valuable practitioner for me and know how to address it. He is knowledgeable and sympathetic about the issues, And gives me the right information to be able to work with my pain. Nobody understands fibromyalgia syndrome like Kevin does. He has seen it all in the world of pain and pain management, and he himself has suffered from chronic pain as well. So he has experience and ability to empathize that most doctors and physical therapists cannot even begin to get. I know he's worked with a large variety of clients who all have one thing in common: they have some difficult-to-treat pain. He can work with people experiencing pain after surgery, fibromyalgia, cancer pain, sciatica, musculoskeletal issues, or something smaller like a tweaked muscle. If you have it, he has probably seen it, and he can empathize with you. He meets you where you are, and gives you tools to help you succeed in your own healing journey. Working with Kevin is literally the only thing that has ever helped me. No medication or Dr. consultation with a specialist has ever brought me as far as Kevin has. If you are a person struggling with pain of any kind in your life I strongly recommend Kevin to you. I want to end this review by stressing again, that he is literally the only person who has ever helped me, and I have probably spent tens of thousands of dollars on specialists in my lifetime. Yes Kevin's service is pricey, but that's because it's uniquely tailored for your pain experience.“

“I contacted Tri-Valley Bodyworks for severe sciatica pain. They are very responsive and booked solid for 3weeks. No matter, I booked an appointment anyway. In the meanwhile Keith provided some tips on how to find a good therapist and a couple referrals. I will update this review after the first appointment. Thank you again for all your help.“

“I came in today for the 30-minute back and neck relief massage due to ongoing tightness and knots in my upper back and neck. Cindy was my masseuse and she was amazing! At the beginning of the massage, Cindy asked me what level of pressure I would like and even though I requested "firm", she continued to check with me throughout the massage to make sure the pressure wasn't too intense or painful, which I really appreciated. Cindy was very thorough and has incredibly strong hands. She managed to find and target not only the obvious knots in my neck and back, but also the more hidden knots and problem areas I didn't realize I had. I left feeling rejuvenated and less stiff/tight than when I got there. I will definitely be back!“

“Great spot! Pretty spacious and love their color options. Got a simple pedicure and Hong (not sure if it’s spelt that way..) is the sweetest! Also the guy who owns the place I think is really friendly and nice. I came in closer to closing time so it felt a bit rushed towards the very end but that’s probably my bad. “Jenny was amazing. She was very communicative and ensured that the pressure I requested was comfortable. I have a moderate back injury and she was very aware to treat that area with care. My allergies were terrible and frustrating. She provided Kleenex and massaged my face.

The only recommendation is to hire a front desk attendant. She had to stop a few times to answer the door but that did not negatively impact the time span of my appointment.

The place was clean and there was no bad smell. I will go back.“

“I had such a wonderful experience from start to finish! The front desk staff was incredibly polite and informative — they explained the membership to me and all services!

Now for when it got even better!! My esthetician ASHLEY was amazing to say the least. She really focused on what my skin needed and created such a relaxing atmosphere that I actually fell asleep during the treatment. Her techniques and hand movements were so soothing, and she took the time to explain the products she was using, which I really appreciated. I even ended up purchasing a couple of the products she recommended and I'm excited to try them at home. I also have really sensitive skin and I love that everything used didn’t irritate my skin.
