“Healthcare at Golden Heights convalescence: I was confined at Golden Heights at 35 Escuela Dr Daly City for less than 60 days for some illness. They're one of the best in health care business, some personality e.g. Nelai Flores, Cristine, Isabel, Faye, Magda,Roland and Abella. I recommend this establishment whenever you need their services. Thanks to them“

“I had a total hip replacement surgery a couple of months ago, and is finally able to go to outpatient physical therapy. When I started looking for a therapist, I just wanted someone close by and have plenty of parking space. When I went to my first appointment I was very pleased with the place. It was spacious, well-lighted, clean with a lot of equipments and exercise benches. My therapist, Daphne, is young but knows what she's doing. She is very professional and respectful. Glad I was able to find this place to help me on my road to recovery.“

“Dr. Wong is phenomenal! I saw him after I had a hip replacement. He is a PT but was previously a massage therapist. He does a great mix of PT exercises and massage. He is helping me get back to walking without a limp and running again! I highly recommend Dr. Wong.“

Martha Mattox Physical Therapists

“I came under the care of Marty Mattox after I broke a bone in my foot. I wanted to get back to training for marathons as soon as possible without the risk of reinjuring myself. The entire staff was great, from the people booking the appointment to checking me in to the support therapists that took me through exercises. Marty herself was very knowledgeable, extremely experienced, including with athletes and got me back to being me. On to the Chicago Marathon for me.“

Healthwell Physical Therapy Group Physical Therapists

“Healthwell PT Rafaela is a knowledgeable, kind and physical therapist. I went in for rotator cuff pain which flared up whenever I moved my arms in certain positions. Rafaela showed me several exercises I could do to strengthen the area around it. Once I started doing the exercises regularly, the pain went away, however if I slacked off, back it came.
Rafaela also helped my knee pain. She watched my walk down the stairs which caused the pain and figured out how I could alter my walk in such a way that the pain wouldn't flare up. She always gave me several exercises I could choose from. At each visit, she would review the exercises with me and ask me which ones worked for me. My shoulders and knees are much happier now that I know how to keep them moving without pain. I highly recommend Rafaela and the PT staff at Healthwell.“

Living Healthy Physical Therapy Physical Therapists

“Already seeing the benefits of doing PT with Maral. Prior to meeting Maral, I had been living with foot/ankle injuries over the last 10+ years, always avoiding doing anything about it until it started really impacting my day-to-day, that is when Maral came into the picture and it’s been significantly better since working with her. I have had less pain and more mobility. She is thoughtful & kind (along with the whole Living Healthy team). Really enjoy coming to their office and wanted to extended a sincere thank you!“

“I suffered two tibial plateau fractures and so was non-weight bearing for months. The recovery was difficult because of leg and feet atrophy. Four 4 months straight Joey took me through all the steps to recovery. Extremely knowledgable, convivial, empathetic and appropriately forceful, Joey is the best. I am back to biking and hiking. If you want to recover and be like you were, you should call Joey.“

Elizabeth Scarpelli, PT Physical Therapists

“Scarpelli & Associates provide highly skilled and individualized care. Unlike some places, you won't be seen by a less experienced PT assistant for your care, only by very experienced and knowledgeable PTs who will assess your specific needs. All of the PTs are experts in manual therapy, which is so critical for regaining function (in conjunction with a specially tailored home exercise program). I have been to places where you just feel like the next person in an assembly line given the same treatment as everyone else whether or not it's what your body needs. That doesn't happen here. Also, the front desk staff are always very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend!“

GSPORTS Physical Therapy Physical Therapists

“Daniela at the FiDi location is phenomenal. She is personable and provides focused, individualized care that shifts with my needs. I came to GSPORTS after seeing a PT at a different practice for the same injury, but not seeing results. I complained about one exercise in particular, and Daniela showed her mettle in explaining why it was helpful specifically for my injury, and supplementing with a range of more engaging exercises. She's also been great about providing letters to me documenting my need to take things slow while I heal. I'd come back to get care from her without reservation. The office helped me navigate my insurance eligibility with Aetna. While appointments here generally book weeks out, I recommend getting on the schedule and asking to be on the standby list to get in sooner.“

Lands End Physical Therapy Physical Therapists

“I highly recommend Lands End! I’ve been a client for 6 months. I was specifically searching for a small practice and found this gem. Each visit I spend some time 1:1 with Micheline, PT and owner. I previously been to large studios where I felt like a name on a piece of paperwork.

I’m always able to get an appointment (!!!) and the young trainers communicate the exercises well.

I’ve made great progress according to my 6-month surgeon check- in. I hit my summer goals to get biking and hiking. I’m on track for my 9 month winter goal of skiing.

I really like the phone app that shows the weekly exercises to do at home as small videos.“

OrthoCare & Sports Physical Therapy Inc. Physical Therapists

“Dr. Chan is awesome, he is attentive, thorough and the best PT I’ve been to in SF. The office is really nice once you’re inside - go down the hall and up the second floor. Super knowledgeable with the care he gave and made sure to follow up with me afterwards. He also did massage which was great. I actually left walking a bit better than before. Front desk and payment/insurance was easy. Some of these other reviews are really incorrect, don’t miss out on this great PT!“

“My mom recently sustained a pelvic fracture (basically the butt bone from a fall-I told her there is a new meaning to a pain in the butt!). It is quite a painful type of fracture actually. She had a great stay at Sutter Mills Peninsula on the orthopedic floor. Every staff member we met was wonderful. People helped us that weren't even assigned to her and with a friendly smile. Even the manager (I believe her name was Pat Jones-forgive me, if I get it wrong, I am doing it from a poor memory as it is and didn't get a chance to write the names down). Anyways, she is the manager on the orthopedic floor and she even came into help me move my mom to the bed. Many managers won't even do this calling for help, but she was right in there helping and explaining things about pelvic fractures, the lift devices, etc. She was amazing. It was a great, cohesive team all working with each other that I observed throughout the stay from CNAs, nurses, case manager, etc. Also noted that the floor was very calm which was peaceful and nice. I have been around many hospitals and many are chaotic, not peaceful, busy and this was very nice. I am sure they were busy but when they were with you, our nurses were very attentive to my mom. All the nurses that were assigned to her were wonderful, capable and had a good bedside manner. I am sorry I did not get every nurse's name, but Marilyn was her day nurse and I think there was a Gina (not sure, but I think I remember that name on the board). Hope the hospital looks up their names on the days my mom was there and give them kudos from us and let them know they are on Yelp! THANK YOU for as pleasant a stay that we could have given a fractured pelvis! And I am in the medical field, so I know good care when I see it as I come from the best facility (albeit retired early) ;)!“
