“Friends, we just wrapped up a 6 month project with AAA. The pictures are what really does this work justice, but I can say that AAA far exceeded expectations. We did a kitchen/living room remodel which included removing two walls and adding a 16' new sliding door and a new deck. Toward the end of the project we expanded scope to include a new roof and new siding and exterior painting. They seamlessly provided this extra work. We lived in the house during the construction and worked from home while the crew transformed our home. Andrey got us going and Art and Alex were our main contacts during the project. “I can't say enough about the quality of their product, and their service. I got my roman shades from them over 20 years ago. Aside from a little dust, it still looks new!Recently however, there was a fault with one of the pulleys, such that the mechanism wouldn't work if I wanted to pull the shades up. I called them up, they found my order from 2 decades ago, then soon sent someone out to replace the faulty part. Peggy and Ed were awesome to work with. In an era where customer service has lost all meaning, it was delightful and refreshing to work with a company that stands behind their products, and are committed to customer satisfaction. “We worked with Zeus Remodeling for a project that amounted to a whole-house remodel (with landscaping) and were very satisfied with both the process and the end product. At the start of the project we set out to find a 'one stop shop' in that we were focused specifically on Design-Build firms who would help plan a vision and then execute to it. While my partner and I have strong aesthetic opinions neither of us are particularly creative and we were seeking a firm that could come in and present us with options that we could iterate on. Thankfully this turned out to be a strong match to Paul's artistic sensibilities. We interviewed several other firms through this process but none of them inspired the level of confidence or empathy in terms of what we were looking for. I should also call out Paul's skills in sketching as a tremendous tool in pre-visualizing options as we were discussing layouts or alternative designsAn adjustment going into the process that led to a better outcome was recognizing that the project would evolve along the way. That can feel a little daunting going into a project of this magnitude but being prepared to adjust designs as new options presented themselves and being opportunistic worked out very well for us with the final result. While I suspect that some firms come with an attitude of 'give the client what they want but no more' in preservation of their margins I felt that Paul was constantly providing useful ideas and feedback - he was easily as invested in the project as we were and we benefited significantly in terms of the end result. Designs are nothing without execution however and I'm pleased to say that both Paul's subcontractors and the various vendors that he leveraged are true craftsmen. Clean lines throughout. Well fitted fixtures. As a tech/AV nerd who insisted on incorporating Cat8 wiring to every room and Dolby 7.1 Atmos Sound systems into several rooms I was encouraged that Paul's team were able to accommodate all the wiring requirements to specs that I provided. His team were even able to customize framing to accommodate built in wall speakers and other unreasonable requests. It's tempting to offer advice to others here because obviously we learned so much through the process. The one counterintuitive thing I will share, which Paul obviously knew but we learned by experience is that it's necessary to take your time getting to done. Moving back into the house post-remodel there are necessary adjustments to the work that only become apparent once you start to live there. Paul's team was very responsive in the months following the bulk of the project as needs arose and we felt supported working through the remaining small issues that came up.Would recommend to anyone seeking to take on a project like this, you'll be in good hands.“

“We had our gorgeous Poggenpohl kitchen cabinetry installed in 2011 as part of a massive renovation to our new single family home on Twin Peaks. The sleek, modern look and seem-less functionality still elicits "oohs" and "ahs" from our dinner guests, 8 years later. Recently we needed some repair work done to a few drawers we banged up. (We are passionate cooks!) With one phone call to I-Ching U., our original Poggenpohl designer and project manager, she had their repair expert John B. out to our house a week later. And just like that, fixes were made and our near perfect kitchen was perfect again! He actually came out TWICE, once to do the original work and again to make sure the repair work stuck and to fix a few little flaws he noted during his first visit. All at no charge to us. Talk about phenomenal customer service! When it comes to great design and johnny-on-the-spot service, Poggenpohl is without peer!“

“We highly recommend Kaplan Architects. Their designs, their knowledge, their professionalism, their personalities exceeded our expectations. As the plans became reality, it was amazing to see their ability to foresee how different elements of the project came together into something over and above what we saw on paper. There were never any surprises or misunderstandings with them in any of our dealings. The communication was excellent. However, the best decision we made in the scope of things was requesting they be a part of the whole job and really do the hands-on project oversight in directing and helping the builder follow the plan. Even though the plans were very specific and precise, things on site can change or availability of materials can alter and having Dave and Ed involved kept the project true to design. Even though the contractors may offer suggestions, they don't grasp the significance of what changing even small details can do to the whole vision, and what a difference that will make. I realized very early on when given a choice by the contractor on anything, I deferred to and chose whatever Ed and Dave suggested. I knew if I could convey what I was looking for, Ed and Dave would know how to get there far, far better than I and my trust in them was absolute and well founded! From ideas, to plans, to bidding, to building I know having them involved from start to finish brought that vision together and we are so thrilled with our "new" home!. They are amazing and we feel very fortunate that we were able to find them and made the right choice involving them throughout the entire process. There is no doubt we never would have come close to the home we achieved without their talent and guidance and patience throughout the job in its entirety.
