“Pretty good. I brought my mini schnauzer for the first time, after having a 2nd bad experience with another groomer. I got an appointment fairly quickly. I think the groomer did a fine job. She wasn't able to do my dog's nails, she said, because she bit her. That would be a first time in four years. I gave her permission to muzzle my dog if necessary but she didn't. She told me I could come back another time. The fee was a little higher than what I've paid in the past but my dog looked good. The gromer told me that my dog had fleas, so she gave her a flea bath, but I check my dogs for fleas frequently and I didn't see any on her. Overall a good experience.“

“My 55 pound dog Duke was very anxious for Nail cuttings (So is his Owner) I think he fed off my anxiety, but as soon as I got To Mariners mile, they soothed him. They got him to the back his nails were cut. He didn’t yippee he came out wagging his tail. I am so relieved. I have found Mariners mile and I will go there from here on. They were absolutely wonderful.“

“Dr. Ally is fabulous! I have been bringing my 2 Frenchies here for many years for vaccines, bee stings, ear infections, leg injuries, and skin issues. I appreciate that Dr Ally gives me several treatment options, when applicable, because sometimes starting conservative does the trick without having to order expensive blood work, X-rays, etc. Being open 7 days a week is a blessing for those that work full time.“

“She is the absolute best! So patient with our dog and she took her time to get to know me and my pup prior to the grooming. We thought we had an impossible dog to groom because that is what almost every groomer has told us. Turns out, this is not true and Tiffy was able to groom him perfectly during the first visit. “I have been working with Jenny to train my dog for the past 10 months and she is incredible! After several attempts with other trainers I finally found one that really helped me train my dog. I went from having an anxious velcro dog to a well regulated dog with good behavior and better socialization. He stopped jumping and barking at people, counter surfing and doesn’t pull on walks. Jenny is always available to answer any questions that arise between sessions. I highly recommend her.“

I have had to stop going to at least 2 or 3 vets in the past, due to the front office staff being completely rude and abrupt. The ladies here (cuz I haven't seen men upfront) are top notch. They present with such knowledge, patience and loving kindness, it really makes the visit go much smoother!

“I cannot recommend Northwood Animal Hospital enough, especially for those with small pets. My bunny Artemis has been seen by both Dr. J and Dr. Roberts, and they are both incredible, knowledgeable, and compassionate vets. I also have nothing but glowing praise for all the vet techs and front desk staff there. Kate and Minerva especially are so sweet and responsive. Everyone here has so much patience and grace.

Unfortunately, my sweet girl passed away during an amputation surgery, but she was older and her paw had become infected. I know that the staff did everything they could…sadly it was just her time. I am so, so grateful to the care that was given to her in the time we spent going to Northwood.“

My eldest pup has struggled when it comes to getting his nails trimmed I used to have to medicate him and have his nails trimmed at his vet (I hate having to medicate him) he would go into the appointment shaking and panting like crazy. Dexter grooming has completely changed him he gets so happy to see them every visit. I see this as a clear testament of the love they have for what they do. I cannot recommend them enough.“
