Mariners Mile Pet Clinic

My dog Frankie has been a patient here, and it’s the first clinic where she’s genuinely comfortable and happy to walk through the door. As an admittedly “extra” pet parent (I have a running list of concerns before every visit), Dr. Whistler has never once made me feel like I was overreacting or asking too much. Instead, she takes every question seriously, actually researches specific concerns rather than giving a generic answer, and explains things in a way that’s thorough without being condescending.

I am a missionary that spends at least a third of the year in Africa. I am shifting to spending about half of the year here, and so I wanted to bring my dog. I didn’t know how daunting of a task this would be, but when I met at Mariners mile, I felt like she was more invested in making sure my dog got to Africa even I was. I felt like she held my hand the entire way, printed me out everything I needed, sent emails and voicemails consistently to make sure that we were on the same page and the process was moving along smoothly. My 55 pound dog Duke was very anxious for Nail cuttings (So is his Owner) I think he fed off my anxiety, but as soon as I got To Mariners mile, they soothed him. They got him to the back his nails were cut. He didn’t yippee he came out wagging his tail. I am so relieved. I have found Mariners mile and I will go there from here on. They were absolutely wonderful.
