1027 Detroit Ave A, Concord“Clean, spacious, dedicated building. Nice indoor bathroom for the humans and plenty of areas outside to potty dogs. Well-marked parking spaces for attendees.
Safe, comfortable location in downtown Martinez next to the district attorney courthouse, veteran memorial building, and eateries.
Instructors make haste and start training you on day one with clear, detailed, helpful instruction.
As a dog training enthusiast, I appreciate the club's attention to facility hygiene, cordoning off areas for dogs that may be reactive to other dogs, having assistants at the ready, and having a separate exit so dogs can leave without going past and reacting to other dogs.
As a lifelong learner, I appreciate that they give really detailed nicely formatted homework sheets.
This is a very well-planned and executed dog training operation that is community-oriented. An overall great place to come learn about how to train your dog in basic manners.
Be prepared to learn a lot, move a lot, and absorb a lot of knowledge.“

His technique with dogs is both effective and fun for them. Only 2 sessions in and seeing results, I'm really excited to continue working with him.“

450 N Civic Dr, Walnut Creek“Our family has been relying on East Bay for over five years, providing care for our several cats and fishies while on vacations. When returning from trips, we always find our animals and home extremely well cared for. Sitters are knowledgeable, attentive, and responsive.“

They are always so accommodating with my schedule, they seem to be able to squeeze me in whenever I call for a last minute appt. I know they do a good job because my dog hates getting her nails trimmed but now she doesn't mind. Mo and staff handle the dogs in their care with lots of patience and love.“

We have worked with her 1-on-1, have regularly attended the drop-in puppy socialization classes, and also enrolled in one of her specialized (trick training) courses. She does a really good job building a community among the dogs (and their humans) that work with her and we plan to stay in her circle throughout our dog's various life phases.“

She has helped my family inculcate new habits to accommodate and help our dog to accept new surroundings, new people. We have grown so much as the guardians of a nervous dog and we couldn't have done it without Jojo's guidance! THANK YOU!“

127 Cameo Dr, Danville“This was my first time using a mobile groomer and I cannot believe I hadn’t used one sooner. His last groomer asked that I didn’t bring him back as he was a bad boy while he was getting his nails done. I did inform Paul the owner of the company of this when on the phone and he reassured me that it wouldn’t be a problem. Paul the owner of the company came out to groom my boy Leopold and I must say I was quite nervous as Leopold doesn’t normally warm up to people, men in particular. When I opened the door, you would have thought they had known each other for years. His tail was wagging and Paul knelt down for a bathing of kisses. Paul took the time to go over all my concerns and he took Leo off for his grooming. When they returned Leo’s tail was still wagging and he looked great. His coat has never felt so soft and he smelt great. Paul told me he was a joy to groom and he would be more than happy to come back to groom him anytime. I highly recommend On The Spot Pet Grooming and I could tell Paul really enjoys and knowledgeable about dogs. I did also like that he quoted me a price on the phone and there were no hidden add-ons once he came and took care of Leo. I know Leo has found his lifetime groomer.??“

3217 Danville Blvd, Alamo“I took my dog to 5 different Vets for an ear infection and none of them could fix the problem. Went to Sexton 3 times and he couldn't fix it, actually got worse. I called because it was so bad and he told me she's going to have to wait til next week because she was uncooperative, what an anus! Went to the vet if front of Sexton 5 times for just a temporary fix. Thought I would try the Vet across from my shop, BINGO! She fixed it the first time! My daughter took her dog there with a runny eye and he was better in 2 days. I'm glad there is somebody around here that knows what they are doing. And BTW, I started out at Bishop Ranch about 5 times b4 I went elswhere. I think they temporarily fix it so you keep coming back and paying 2 to 300$.“

1180 Muir Rd, Martinez“Muir Oaks has been the best vet we have gone to. This is saying a lot because we have moved often and gone to at least 7 different vets in the last 6 years. They are great fantastic for veterinary care and they are amazing for boarding. My dog was extremely aggressive to most people and dogs, but here she was able to connect with the staff and feel more comfortable. They also comforted us when we unfortunately had to put her down. They gave us the kindness we needed and treated us like we really lost a family member, which we did. If I still lived in the area, I would be a lifelong client.“

They met with me almost weekly to train me to be successful with him. He went to them headstrong, hyper, and nippy and and came home as a polite, sweet, loving puppy. I can’t thank Hillary enough for training this puppy and being able to keep him in our family.“

We signed up our shepherd mix puppy for Puppy 1 class and we were very impressed by the teaching tactics and results that we got for our dog. Keri was friendly and very knowledgeable and was a great trainer for both my husband and I as well as our puppy. We signed up for the second class level soon after completing the first. Our dog just graduated puppy 2 and I wanted to write a glowing review for both Keri and the pet food express staff. I highly recommend spending the money to making your dog better for life!“
