Gila Rut in Otay has been my salon for 10+ years, and Brittani has cut my hair for most of that time. It's always a great experience and my hair always looks great. Thanks, Gila Rut team!
Most stylists are sweet and friendly, but for some reason this salon environment has always been a nerve wracking one for me. There’s always a lot of customers and noise, it tends to be busy and sometimes feels a bit elitist inside. As well, they sometimes push products on you and pressure you to set appointments for your next visit before you leave, which I don’t enjoy. The colorists know what they’re doing in my opinion, and they do use high quality products. I prefer smaller salons I think.
Today I went back to Gila Rut so Katie could highlight my hair after another salon (Salon 54 in Bonita) dyed it almost black. After I asked for blind highlights!I guess you get what you pay for!The dark brown was my messed up hair!The next photo is after my 1st appt with Katie, she got rid of my ugly dark brown hair.
