14610 Pipeline Ave, Chino“Being in Krav Maga has not only taught me how to fight, but it made me become a better person and more confident. I am able to stand up for myself. I never thought I be standing up for myself. I owe it all to Sensei Johnson for helping me and guiding me to be tough and helping me reach my goals. I joined Krav Maga so that I wouldn't be afraid, weak, and timid. This is something that gets me through the day. When I walk into the dojo, I am a completely different person. I went on a 11 year hiatus from 2010 to 2021. I never thought I see myself back in this dojo. I never thought I see Sensei Johnson back. I wish I was continuing Krav, but I am back now and I am turning myself around. If you join krav, stick with it. Don't make the same mistake I made.“

146 E Bonita Ave, San Dimas“As a parent, enrolling my child at Red Dragon Karate in San Dimas has been one of the best decisions we've ever made. From the very beginning, the Sensei Matthew and Sensei Jacob have been not only highly skilled but also incredibly supportive and inspiring. They go far beyond teaching martial arts – they teach confidence, focus, discipline, and respect. The front desk manager, Deanna is always friendly and knowledgeable; she goes the extra mile to ensure that we have the correct equipment as he progresses through the ranks.“

As a proud mom, I sincerely appreciate the continuing support and coaching from Shihan and Sensei Alec. Kids learned not only self-defense and physical skills but also discipline and obtained confidence, plus mental strength. We are very grateful to be part of the RDK Diamond Bar family. Highly recommend families with younger kids give it a try. You will love all the instructors at this dojo.“

The Senseis really work well with kids of all ages and help them develop the skills needed to be successful in this sport but also the values that will keep them successful as adults. Highly recommend if you are looking for a martial art dojo for your kids.“

They truly enjoy attending every class, and it's been amazing to watch them grow—not just in their martial arts skills, but also in their character. They've learned the value of teamwork, discipline, and respect, and we've seen a very positive change in both of them since they joined. 1241 Grand Ave J, Diamond Bar“My daughter has been with All Star Taekwondo since she was little, and today she is a proud black belt. Watching her grow through this program—both in skill and in character—has been one of the most rewarding experiences as a parent. I couldn’t be more proud of her, and we’re incredibly thankful for everything this school has done to support her journey.
The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely care about each student’s progress. They don’t just teach taekwondo—they teach discipline, confidence, and respect. The environment is positive, structured, and motivating.
If you're looking for a place where your child can grow both mentally and physically, I highly recommend All Star Taekwondo. It’s been a big part of our lives, and we’re grateful for the community they’ve built.“

659 E 15th St f1, Upland“We’ve had such a great experience at Excel Taekwondo Academy. The environment is positive, structured, and very supportive.
Master Kim has been amazing with my son, who is on the autism spectrum. He treats him like any other student, while still being patient and helping him when he doesn’t understand something. He takes the time to break things down until my son gets it, and seeing his confidence grow has meant so much to us.
My son recently earned his yellow belt and is now focused on working hard toward his purple belt. We’re so thankful for Master Kim and highly recommend Excel Taekwondo to any family looking for a place that truly cares about their students. ????“

1842 W 11th St D, Upland“Defense Arts Center is the place to go if you are interested in learning or having your child learn authentic, traditional Japanese Karate. My son has been going to DAC for a year now and it's been a great experience for him. The instructor, Sensei Ty, is very professional, kind, and caring. His karate program teaches kihon (basic moves), kata (forms) and kumite (sparring), as well as self-defense movements. While there are many karate dojos/training centers around this area, including Upland, Ontario, Ranco Cucamonga, etc., this is the only place where you can learn real Japanese karate-do, namely Shotokan karate, one of the four major styles of Karate that are Shotokan-ryu, Goju-ryu, Shito-ryu, and Wado-ryu.“
1 - 8PM
17488 Yorba Linda Blvd, Yorba Linda“My daughter goes to this academy and watching how Master Kim instills his own skills to his students is amazing! His passion for correct discipline, respect, communication and more gives these students these types of passions. He loves his work and this type will continue with his students for their future.“
“Hands down the best BJJ gym in the Inland empire, highly recommended! The coaches at C-Quence are very attentive, family oriented & make you feel right at home all whilst teaching the best self defense skills. My favorite classes are the all women’s jiu-jitsu class, no-gi & striking class. All classes are beginner friendly & taught by black belts in a welcoming environment. I will be renewing for another year & recommending to family/friends!“
7 - 8:30PM
1842 W 11th St D, Upland“Our family has been part of this dojo for years, and we truly couldn’t ask for a better experience.
My son has grown so much through his time here—building confidence, learning valuable self-defense skills, and deepening his understanding of Aikido. Sensei Eugene and Sandra are absolutely wonderful. They don’t just teach; they guide, encourage, and treat every student like family. We love this dojo and the supportive Aikido community!“

20385 Yorba Linda Blvd # 100, Yorba Linda“My three children have attended Master Kim’s classes for years, and I’ve seen remarkable physical and mental growth in them, which I attribute to his curriculum and teaching style. They’ve gained improved fitness, confidence (especially my daughters), and focus.
I recently joined classes with my daughter and have been even more impressed. Despite nearly a decade of high-intensity training, I’ve experienced surprising improvements in balance and focus thanks to Master Kim’s guidance.
I highly recommend Master Kim for anyone committed to personal growth or helping their children develop in a challenging yet enjoyable environment.“
9AM - 9PM
8423 Rochester Ave STE 102, Rancho Cucamonga“My grandson loves this place and we like the variety of classes offered for his age range. My only concern is that while I watched him get consistent attention from the instructors, his (female) sparring partner was ignored three times in a row. She even walked up each time after, asking for help and for them to watch her (she was doing the moves incorrectly, but no one was helping her). That really concerned me. :( She was literally asking for help and no one would help her. Finally the fourth time the instructors paid attention to her and helped her form. So just keep an eye to ensure all the kids are getting equal attention.“

1202 Monte Vista Ave Suite 11, Upland“I’ve been with Kali Method for about 13 years. It is a Dojo. A place of sanctuary where we as students can hone our ability to maintain discipline and serenity throughout life especially when unexpected circumstances arise, for discipline is an art, and this school is the highest caliber of that art and of the Martial Arts over all in my humble opinion.
This is what this school has to offer and beyond… It trains you in self-defense through the practical use of the Filipino Martial Arts known as Kali & other variations. But what you learn from here goes beyond the mats, the dojo, & the lessons..
The lineage of Gurus (Teachers/Instructors) are impressive and impeccable. They stay true to the art of the Kali flow with several black belts already achieved. Needless to say, it is a place of Kaizen, of Ikigai, of Ichigo-Ichi, of Kapwa, of Kalipay, of Mabuhay.
Above all it is a place to learn and evolve. We already know that we have decided to come to this Earth, but we are here to discover our WHY, and why we came here and what we are here to learn.
I assure you, if you read in between the subtleties of this dojo, you might find your answer in this dojo, at the very least, you will cultivate enough personal power through Kali Method to see the way & to follow the path for the rest of your life.
Kali Method has thought me this; Your path challenges you because it knows your strength.
I’ll see you at the Dojo, I’ll see you at Kali Method.“

They are patient but also firm with the kids. Great Job.“

12648 Limonite Ave, Eastvale“Our children's experience here has been nothing short of amazing. They have been training here for the past five -six years. Like most kids are reluctant to change especially in the beginning. However, thanks to their friendly staff Grand Master and Master Mario have managed to instill the confidence and tools our kids self-consciously have been looking for. We have seen the growth in our children, and we are thankful to Champion Tae Kwon Do.“

10722 Arrow Route STE 706, Rancho Cucamonga“Training with Coach Sway has honestly been life-changing. It’s not just about learning how to fight — it’s about building confidence, discipline, and mental strength. Coach Sway creates an environment where you feel challenged but never judged. Every session pushes you to be better, sharper, and tougher — both physically and mentally.
What sets Coach Sway apart is how much he genuinely cares. He sees your potential even when you don’t, and he won’t let you settle for anything less than your best. Whether you're just starting or leveling up, he meets you where you're at and takes you higher.
Thank you, Coach Sway, for every correction, every push, and every moment you believed in me when I didn’t yet believe in myself. I walk out of every class stronger — not just as a fighter, but as a person.“

4000 Valley Blvd, Walnut“This is the best Jiu Jitsu class because they truly focus on teaching. I've tried other places where it's mostly about fun. I don't want to spend money, especially time, driving and waiting for my kid for a Jiu Jitsu class just for fun. But here, after just one free class, I didn't hesitate to sign up for a year. They really teach things even from the first class. I really like the coaches here, especially Mr. Albert. He is kind yet strict, maintaining full control to ensure that kids are not just playing around but learning properly. I appreciate the balance of discipline and kindness. I am very thankful to have found this place and highly recommend this business!“

146 E Bonita Ave, San Dimas“All the Sensais and coaches in RDK San Dimas are passionate on Karate, and wholeheartedly help every of their students to have successful Karate training journey. They are patient with students by motivating them to through different ways, and more so they make each karate class full of fun and excitement. Other than the regular karate classes, they devote resource and energy on other fun-filled activities outside of the regular class time. I have put my son in their dojo for over 3 years and it's been an amazing journey so far. I would choose this dojo again if I were to pick again, despite the long commute.“
“We started coming here based off of a friends recommendation and I am so glad we did! My son loves practicing karate here and it is a fun, safe, learning environment. The kids start as a white belt and work their way up. We are about six months in, and so far my son loves it. He enjoys coming every week and is so excited to start practicing his moves once he gets home. Master Lowe was a substitute teacher previously, so he knows how to work with all behaviors of children. He is patient, tough when he knows the kid needs it, nurturing and caring. Master Lowe talks with the parents and keeps everyone informed on how their child is doing, what the upcoming events are and any changes to the classes. I would definitely recommend bringing your kid here!“

“Master Matthew of Chino Taekwondo is an exceptional Taekwondo instructor. As a Korean who moved to the United States at the age of 16 and now a father in my mid-40s, I have been practicing Taekwondo since kindergarten and am currently a third-degree black belt master. I never imagined that such a great Taekwondo school would be right in front of my house. When my son turned four during the COVID-19 pandemic, I decided to bring him to Master Matthew's school. Initially, my son was very shy and hesitant to start, but now, at the age of six, he is excited and determined to attend regularly. Master Matthew's teaching style is outstanding from a Korean perspective. The Taekwondo instructors I trained under were very strict, rarely smiled, and were quite intimidating. In contrast, Master Matthew is more educational, gentle, and has a fantastic ability to connect with children. He creates a positive and encouraging learning environment that has greatly benefited my son. I am impressed by how well he balances discipline with kindness, making the classes both effective and enjoyable for the students. I highly recommend Master Matthew to anyone looking for a top-notch Taekwondo instructor. His dedication and expertise make him an invaluable asset to our community, and I am grateful to have found such an excellent Taekwondo school for my family.“
