“If you're seeking a genuine Shotokan Karate experience this is your dojo! Sensei Ty Aponte leads with remarkable expertise, and my family's journey here has been fantastic. My son joined a year ago, followed by my daughter six months later, and recently, I've joined in too – training three days a week under the guidance of three skilled sensei. The learning curve for some techniques can be challenging, but the instructors are incredibly patient, taking the time to explain and demonstrate practical applications, ensuring everyone stays engaged. What's fantastic is the welcoming atmosphere for all ages – from kids to middle-aged parents like myself. Beyond Shotokan Karate, the dojo offers various other martial arts styles like Aikido, Wing Chung, Kodubo, and more, broadening the learning opportunities for anyone interested. New students are even offered a free week of training, which is a great way to experience the dojo firsthand. The dojo is located in the Eleventh Street business park with plenty of parking spaces. . Highly recommend!“

“This karate dojo is the best!!! All the sensei masters are extremely patient and motivating for the kids. We had taken karate through the community center in Eastvale, but after being invited to a bring your friend pizza at this dojo, we realized this is place where we want our kids to learn self-sense, discipline, and have fun. Even though it's a little drive from Eastvale to get to VCMA in Chino Hills, it's totally worth it. Forever our karate dojo family!!!!“

“Coach/Kru Riley is extremely talented at teaching and conveying the BJJ and Muay Thai tactics to all ages. He is patient but direct with purpose on how he conducts his classes. Very methodical, applicable and engaging to our 4 year old, who cannot get enough. Riley and USKO is so welcoming that my wife is now going to start Muay Thai as well. Being half Thai and around Muay Thai my whole life in some capacity, USKO definitely encapsulates the Thai spirit of work hard, laugh harder. ? Kap Kuhn, Dustin.“

“I highly recommend Action Martial Arts! My three-year-old had a fantastic time learning, thanks to Master Josh Rigg's patience and excellent teaching. The community is welcoming, including supportive parents. It's been a fantastic experience overall, and I would recommend it to any parent seeking to enrich their child's extracurricular activities for developing good habits. Five stars!“

“I wanted to sign my son up for martial arts so he could be more active and help burn off some of his ADHD energy, however all of the local dojos seemed commercialized and impersonal. My son's friend started attending class here and his mom told me about how much she really liked it. We came one evening to check it out and immediately signed up afterwards. This dojo is clean and the other families are friendly and supportive to each other and the kids. Master Lowe is great with his students. He is the perfect blend of tough yet encouraging. He tells the kids all the time they should be striving to improve their karate skills, and improving at home and school as well. My son is learning karate skills and valuable life lessons as well. I'm so glad we found Lowe's Martial Arts Academy“

“Love this studio! Great instruction, fun classes, and a friendly family-like environment. Coach Sway helps all students, whether beginner or advanced, to improve and the classes are great exercise. I love the hands on fight training and sweating out my stress. I also am doing personal coaching/training with Coach Sway and he is really helping me with my form and athleticism. He has also introduced me to weight lifting which is improving my overall practice. I can not recommend this studio enough to anyone who wants to learn how to fight.“

“This is an early review as my daughter just started TKD here. My daughter is a student of Gracie Jiu Jitsu and so I thought it only right that she learned some type of strike defense to go with her ground game. Just so she doesn't have to dirty her skirt if she doesn't have to. Lol... anyway I've lived in Rubidoux for many years and have always passed by Aguila's TKD so I thought I'd give it a try. I enrolled my daughter right away because the pricing is very affordable. After having done the math it comes out to about $6 per class (less if you attend Saturdays) so I thought where are you going to find a self defense class for this price? So she started and right away I could tell that master Aguila is the coach she needs. Discipline. Hard nose training. No softies. I knew that this is what my daughter needed. The pre-workouts are vigorous and definitely the type of conditioning that would help her in her Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training. So, second day in and she knows that this will help her and she loves it... just not quite as much as GBBJJ. I rated this a 5 star because everything starts off as a 5 starting me. If my ideas change. I'll be back to alter that. On the other hand, for me, it's nice to see one of the cute training girls there with her curly hair and dimples. Lol... it's refreshing. Lol“

“This place is no longer called Champion Taekwondo. According to close friends it's now rebranded and named "Arise Taekwondo" and run by a taekwondo National Champion. This place has really bumped up!“

“We have been searching for a good Taekwondo gym for the past few years and finally found it. Master Morales and Master Kayla are the best teachers bar none. We only wish we would have found Knockout earlier!“

“My son has been training at C-Quence Jiu-Jitsu since 2016. I have only great things to say about my personal experience here at C-Quence. John Muñoz and his family are very professional and knowledgeable in training students from all ages. John has coached and trained champions from different arenas in the MMA world. Including World Jiu-Jitsu champions, King Of The Cage champions and currently working with UFC fighters. If you’re looking for a solid place to train and learn from the best in the Inland Empire, this is the right place. I highly recommend C-Quence Jiu-Jitsu. There’s no BS here only hard work.“

“I recently took a Woman's Self-Defense Class that was to support the Susan G Komen Foundation. This class was so great and I can hardly wait to go back. Good practical tips and tools plus we got to practice them with opponents. The class was small but I strongly suggest checking it out, especially in this day and age. It was mentioned that they will start doing these quarterly which I know I will attend.“

“Being in Krav Maga has not only taught me how to fight, but it made me become a better person and more confident. I am able to stand up for myself. I never thought I be standing up for myself. I owe it all to Sensei Johnson for helping me and guiding me to be tough and helping me reach my goals. I joined Krav Maga so that I wouldn't be afraid, weak, and timid. This is something that gets me through the day. When I walk into the dojo, I am a completely different person. I went on a 11 year hiatus from 2010 to 2021. I never thought I see myself back in this dojo. I never thought I see Sensei Johnson back. I wish I was continuing Krav, but I am back now and I am turning myself around. If you join krav, stick with it. Don't make the same mistake I made.“

“Confidence, joy, compassion. I don't call out other reviewers but that Jeney person probably has a snowflake kid or is ill-behaved, the coaches/masters have NEVER been hit or "disciplined". Listen, I took taekwondo as a kid, back in the 90s, in the San Fernando Valley. David Park was his name. He gave us knuckle sandwiches (flicking his finger against our forehead) when we misbehaved. I wasn't afraid of him (he was just as loving and playful as anyone, but when it came to business, he was all business). No caning but honestly, the thought probably crossed his mind. The master here is NOTHING like my master was, in terms of life lessons, instilling confidence, and having fun (and by the way, my master was still all of that, just with a lil "tough love" thrown in). Ok, enough "nostalgic, back in my day" talk. This place is a beacon for the community, you can grab a treat next door at Stater Bros while your kiddo practices their forms and board-breaking, and it's got good wifi so you can amble away on your phone while they're running around the dojo mat. Highly recommended.“
