Oakwood Memorial Park and Cemetery has received mixed reviews regarding its maintenance and services. Some visitors express disappointment about the upkeep, mentioning dead areas of lawn and cracked headstones, along with concerns about seasonal decorations being discarded. However, others had a positive experience, noting that the planning and graveside ceremonies were well-organized, with helpful staff providing necessary information and setup. Guests appreciated the beautiful, expansive grounds filled with green grass and oak trees. The cemetery's manager offered to ensure the site looked nice for visitors, which contributed to a sense of dignity during ceremonies. Overall, Oakwood Memorial Park and Cemetery offers a serene environment for honoring loved ones, though experiences may vary concerning maintenance.
My sister Emerald Jasmin Arias was born June 18,1991 and passed on December 30,2009 she is buried there and it is a very gorgeous place and peaceful, I love it and I wish I could have us all in the family buried there, but unfortunately they don't have too many available spots , specially not near her grave site. I miss her so so much.
From what I see Adolfo Zamudio seems like an excellent person with tasteful qualities. Truthful staff, reasonable service. Knows a lot about things that pertain to groups and patterns, looking at him from the outside.
Everything went better & faster than I was expecting. I took the burial permit to Oakwood, signed the paperwork and had my mother’s urn buried, all the same day. A month later the bronze plaque was placed on the grave without delay. The price was competitive and the grounds are better maintained than some cemeteries I’ve seen. I’m very pleased with the results.
