Jen is a true professional. She's clearly talented at that she does but she is also able to take critiques and make those changes to give you exactly what you want on your big day. My trial was amazing but I ultimately decided to go with a more natural makeup look and a more relaxed curl for the wedding day. I sent over my comments after the trial and she implemented them perfectly the day of my wedding. She was also so nice to accommodate coming back to do another hair look for my reception!

“Last weekend was my first brow appointment with Flor and it was such an amazing experience! I was so intimidated by the idea of going to someone who specializes in waxing since I have spent so many years going to nail salons for the service since it's cheap and something easy you can walk-in and do. I was worried that whoever I went to next would judge me (and my brows), but that was not that case at all!When I arrived to the Benefit section of Macy's I was greeted by the sweetest sales person at the counter who let me know Flor would be right back. (I was a few minutes early because I was nervous!) Flor arrived within seconds and was so kind and welcoming. I knew right away that I made the right decision to book an appointment with her! She introduced herself and asked me a little bit about my previous experience with Benefit, previous experience with waxing/threading, and then asked about my skin. I think it's incredibly thorough of her to start an appointment with an understanding of her client's skin. That's something that I had never experience before!Then, Flor started mapping out where the start, end, and peak of the brow should be based on my face structure and nose. This part was so much fun for me because it was a learning experience for me as well as a way for her to let me know what my brows can look like if I continue visiting Benefit's Brow Bar. We discussed the goals I have for my brows (symmetry, symmetry, symmetry!!) and she let me know her exact plan of action before even mixing the wax. 5 STARS RIGHT HERE ALONE!Flor proceeded to start the waxing process and it went over very well. She managed to do the waxing, AND walk me through any changes in posture or head movement to help get the right angles, AND ALSO ask me questions about who I am and what I do. It was incredible! It made me feel welcomed in the space, made me feel confident about what my brows would look like, and helped build that sense of community that is often lacking at other brow establishments. I am incredibly happy with how my brows came out. We have a plan on how to get them where I want them to be over time, but I understand that it's a process since I am hoping to get a bit of hair growth back. And we were able to get my next appointment on the books at a time that works for me. Overall, an incredible experience! I recommended Flor and the Benefit Brow Bar at Macy's for anyone looking to FIX THEIR BROW GAME! I'm so excited to see her next month!“

“For the first time yesterday I went to get my hair done With Aide after reading her rave reviews on Yelp and now I can add mine! She is a totally awesome human being in every way, and on top of it she is an excellent hair technician in every way! I say technician because that is what I needed to get me back to where I was before my hair was ravaged from the last 2 people I went to, to the point I was afraid to get my hair done again, especially not knowing who to go to in the desert. So once again Yelp saved me from more despair when I researched someone who is an expert coloristic and at color correction. Being she is so skilled with all facets of hair she nailed the look I wanted (was hoping I could finally get someone to do) and after going through some pictures I showed her she guided me very professionally through what was realistic for the condition my hair was in which I really appreciated. Being I am 73, my hair has thinned out especially because of the prior damage that had been done, but I am a very cool and artsy 73 as well and like an edgie look, and Aide nailed that too! She is the real deal folks and a total gem in a sea of people that don't seem to know what they're doing and don't have this expertise. She also gave me a free consultation prior to my appointment which some hairdressers now charge you for, and I found her prices to be pretty darn reasonable for what she offers. Also darling comfy cozy clean studio, very welcoming and she is an absolute doll! Never going anywhere else!“

He found Sitting Pretty Beauty, and they were absolutely amazing! Lana and Candice were really responsive, they made sure to get some inspo images from me before the day, and they were right on time. Outside of all that, they are just sweet, fun girls...I enjoyed chatting and laughing with them the entire time they worked on me.

And my hair and makeup were PERFECTION! I got compliments all night, my husband was swooning, and I felt like a princess. Candice even added some really pretty pearl pin accents to my hair so it would give the updo more dimension.

The only thing I'm bummed about is that they live up in Palm Springs, not in San Diego where we live. I would use them for every special event!“

“I am so excited to have found Maria and Gloria at Top Knot Hair Salon. My hair was in desperate need of a makeover. My gray had grown out about 2” from my roots and my base color was a mess. I also needed to have about 4” cut off and due to my health, my hair had thinned out so we are going to be doing extensions. Everything we discussed in our consultation a few weeks ago was done.
