“I had April as my driving instructor and she was very patient with me and super friendly. Even though I was bit nervous to drive at first, she had such great energy and I learned a lot . Thanks to her I passed on my first try!”
“Toki, Lucky, JB and Rueben are awesome. They really have your best interest in mind, they’ll help you exactly the way you need, no rush, no stress. I was very happy to attend and will miss the vibe”
“I passed my CDL exam on 6/29/26 on my first attempt and earned my Class A license. Paul and his team at A-1 Trucking School will give you the knowledge, training, and preparation you need to succeed—the execution is up to you. Put in the work, stay committed, and you'll be well prepared for test day.
Ron is an absolute gem of an instructor. He has a patient, welcoming approach that immediately puts you at ease. As you progress through the program, he becomes increasingly detailed and thorough to ensure you're fully prepared for the exam. He's a true Zen master when it comes to trucks and driving, and he also has some great stories to share along the way.
If you enroll, make sure to attend the Saturday sessions. Nick, who teaches on weekends, does an excellent job tightening up both your road driving and the skills-test portion of the exam.
I evaluated several schools in the area, and what truly separated A-1 from the competition was the students. The environment is highly collaborative, with everyone helping and encouraging one another to succeed.
One final piece of advice: read the material Paul has put together. Everything you need to pass the CDL exam is covered in the curriculum. Pay close attention to the points system for the skills test—there's a strategy to every exam, and understanding how it's scored can make a big difference.
Thank you to Paul, Ron, Nick, and the entire A-1 team for helping me achieve this milestone.”
