“This place is so close to the house I decided to give it a try. Didn't even wait an hour so came at a good time (after 5pm on a Tues). The receptionist was polite and told me what to do. It's really nice inside so don't let the outside fool you. The MA/nurse who took me back was very nice and listened to what i said and had a sense of humor too! “This doctor has literally saved my life. I got sick and ended up in and out of the hospital, with countless symptoms but with no answers. I was in and out of the ER several times a week, BEGGING for answers, referred to many specialists over and over only to be told my labs were normal and sent on my way. I had debilitating vertigo on a regular basis, allergic reactions to everything and anything, chronic urticaria (hives), any time i ate the smallest thing my body would react terribly to it, severe weakness, extreme fatigue hair loss, chest pain, GERD that kept me up all night, heart palpitations, tachycardia for no reason, i ate high calorie food and couldn't gain a single pound I had dropped down to a scary 92lbs for seemingly no reason, and so many more symptoms. She analyzed my skin, body, my gait, she took all the labs I had saved from the past year or two, and ordered more in depth labs to try and figure out why my body was doing what it was doing. There was a lot wrong with me lol- the most impactful being my guy health, and food allergies I was completely unaware of. I was put on a regimen of natural medicine and supplements to fix the damage that had been caused. My journey was a tough one, and I took it very slow since I'm so sensitive to everything, and she helped me every step of the way. ALL of those symptoms are gone, I am still working on healing, especially since I was severely deficient in iron, and healing my nervous system so I can keep everything else in balance, but I am functional now, and doing so much better. Dr. Lissa has helped me get my life back, and I can't even express how grateful I am. Doctors swore up and down I would not heal my GERD without taking their PPIs, they literally told me it was IMPOSSIBLE, (without doing any actual tests on me of course, I had low stomach acid so their PPIs would have made me sicker, ironically), but here I am now, no more GERD, zero use of PPIs. If you are reading this, and your story is similar, and you're tired of the back and forth with hospitals, please do yourself a favor, and see this doctor. Your life will change, for the better. I am forever grateful for this wonderful doctor, and I will continue to see her for my wellness for as long as she accepts patients. This is a review for Dr. Kazuto Augustus. I have been seeing Dr. Augustus for 18 months. Dr. Augustus has been consistently kind, caring, and respectful throughout our interactions. In addition, Dr. Augustus has been affable and a very good listener during my visits, and makes you feel comfortable and attended to. How often can you say that about a physician, much less a specialist? My foot needs are somewhat unique, and Dr. Augustus took many variables into account before recommending a treatment for my diabetic neuropathy that I had never heard of (Qutenza). He seems to be expert and knowledgeable. The treatment has been quite successful so far, although there are several months to go. At West Coast Foot and Ankle (Long Beach Office) the staff have been serious but polite and efficient. There was one time when the ball got dropped in communication with the specialty pharmacy, but that quickly got fixed. Overall two thumbs up.“

“I enjoyed getting a Fractional CO2 laser at Dermatown. I got it in February of 2025. It was my first time getting a laser done to my face, so I wasn’t entirely sure how to go about it. Fortunately, the customer service was amazing and I felt comfortable getting the laser. I was given detailed instructions of how to care for my face post treatment and they gave me a kit to take home. The kit had directions on them and skin care tools to care for my face. I was also able to send Dermatown daily photos of my face so they could track my progress and guide me on what to do each day as my face was going through the stages of the treatment.
