My husband suffered a catastrophic illness and spent 2 weeks at Mercy San Juan Acute Rehabilitation Center. To say that the care was good does not seem adequate. He had the most wonderful team lead by Nate as his physical therapist. The kindness combined with stellar clinical care was quite something to experience every day. The nurses were so compassionate and my husband never had to ask for something twice. Both of the doctors who lead this team are fantastic and truly lead by example. Thank you to everyone at Mercy , we love you! I would be neglecting the life saving care my husband received in the ICU before moving to the acute rehabilitation center. My grandson was in the pediatric wing. The care there was great. The Staff was very caring and did a great job. My concern and disappointment are in regards to the upkeep and maintenance of the building. Some areas of the hospital the floors are filthy. The waiting room for the o r was run down and dirty. The seating was uncomfortable, not a table in the room, no phone charging stations and no tv. That's an important room that needs a lot of attention due to the long period of time one is there worrying about their loved ones. The other Dignity Hospital are better. I feel absolutely obligated to share my recent experience in labor & delivery at Mercy San Juan as it was the best care I've ever received having children and just being in a hospital in general. I just delivered my son on Friday March 1st 2024 and my entire stay from start to finish was wonderful. I checked in at 6:30am for my scheduled repeat cesarean, this is my 4th child and pregnancy was high risk. I was so nervous, it's been almost 10 years since my last cesarean. My cesarean team was so supportive, and everyone was amazing. My caesarean went smoothly with no complications. The entire team worked efficiently and were so kind to my husband and I.
