El Proyecto Del Barrio provides a pleasant experience for its patients. The staff is friendly and helpful, often going the extra mile to assist with issues such as insurance and vaccination transfers. The doctors, including Dr. Lana Flipo and Dr. Zhaleh, are attentive and caring, taking the time to address patients' concerns and provide necessary referrals. Despite some issues with the phone call system, the staff is not to blame and deserves praise for their hard work. Patients have been impressed with the service and care received, and highly recommend the practice.
Horrible place Doctor Wheeler my so called Doctor has taken vacations or had “emergencies” where she is gone for several months. This place will schedule you an appointment for 6 weeks ahead, and than 5 weeks later they will say we have to schedule you in for another month ahead. Horrible experience they will refer you to 2 star clinics if you need an allergist or a specialist. If you take your health serious do what I’m doing and that’s getting private insurance it’s worth the extra money I would say.
My father used to come here. At first his Dr. was good and helping him out but then his Dr. didn’t want to prescribe him medication for pain and told him to look for a specialist instead…? Like what are you a Dr. for then?? Anyways desk assistants are also rude over the phone. My father has health issues and they are so careless unfortunately, there are Dr’s that only care about money and not the patients health. By the wait the fact they said to look for a specialist they didn’t even give a referral. The audacity seriously!
I have been coming to this clinic for such a long time and have been great.. They changed their policies whatever reason which I understand. But who is suppose to inform the patient. It was I called them the day of appointment they tell me come to clinic and show proof of income, I said I can email you. They were adamant to come to clinic and show proof. Are you for real? People have jobs. If I would not have called they would have charged me full amount. non sense.. Management. And I requested them to get the appointment this time and I am ready to pay the amount which I paid last time and I will do as requested eventually but I cannot come now.
