“My daughter has taken piano lessons with Opus 11 since 2022 and we love the company and our teacher! We were looking for more individual instruction with her piano journey (she had been in group lessons with another music company previously), and we couldn’t be happier with our decision to join Opus 11. My daughter receives high quality instruction with patience, appropriate challenges with scaffolds and supports to reach her goals, and the incorporation of valuable theory study. She practices a variety of pieces in several books and has grown in her understanding of music and theory. Her teacher has experience and expertise in this work and provides careful and structured individualized instruction for the highest level learning for her students.

The company is flexible with makeups and exploring other options and instruments. With a few makeup lessons on her account, my daughter was able to take some voice lessons too- these were incredibly supportive and inspiring (maybe we will add voice lessons in the future!).

There are plenty of fun initiatives, such as Bring a Friend to class week as well as opportunities to practice duets with a friend.

Our favorite part about studying at Opus 11 are the frequent recitals and opportunities for performance. The recitals are fun and low-pressure, and it’s so great for students in all walks of life and on their own musical journeys to participate and receive encouragement from the community.

Finally, we appreciate the new Parents’ Night Out initiatives offered by Opus 11! My children were cared for with happiness and fun, and they were fed well and kept safe.

Ms. Diana S. is a true professional. It is a privilege to learn from an active performing opera singer who is so generous with her expertise. She fosters a healthy and encouraging environment where young children feel safe to pursue art, yet she challenges them with high expectations.

Behind the scenes, Miss Elena is the heart of the program, organizing lessons and ensuring everything runs perfectly. I also really appreciate that the leadership listens; the school receives feedback well and is willing to make changes to improve the student experience.

The performance opportunities are unmatched, with venues like the Santa Clara Convention Center and Carnegie Hall providing the perfect stage to have fun and grow as an artist. Excellent facilities and even better teachers.

My 6yo and 7yo attend for piano & voice with Ms. Anna & Ms. Swetlana- both are excellent music teachers. They are excellent musicians themselves. I appreciate their attention to preparing my children for performances and Veksler puts together beautiful and professional recitals 3 times a year- including the one at Carnegie Hall. I enjoy watching other students along with my own and always leave feeling inspired. The Sunnyvale facility is big, newer and nice. The students who attend this music school are well accomplished in music and it’s fun to listen to the beautiful sounds walking through their hallways. The Veksler family has music running through their blood and it’s a lucky thing that they pour their soul into a school to develop musical talent. I recommend coming here for professional instruction and to inspire your children.“

“It's impossible to give this music school less than the maximum allowable (5), especially when it comes to Ms. Natalie Gingis. I met her more than 20 years ago, when I was in college, taking a music course with her. That's when I started taking private lessons with her. I was amazed every time she demonstrates a piece of music that I was learning. She brought my level up significantly. She was my inspiration. I learned multiple music instruments from teachers graduated from the Vietnam Conservatory music school. None can be compared to her abilities. She's gifted. Her daughter, Anna Gingis won top international prices. So do lots of her students. I prefer lessons with Ms. Natalie over her daughter. Those that are complaining don't know how lucky they are to have her in the Saratoga areas and they are not good enough to understand, or they don't have the discipline to study piano. Most music teachers, especially, piano music teachers cannot demonstrate at the level Ms. Natalie can. Every time someone tells me that I play well. I always reply that I was so lucky that I met a piano teacher name Natalie Gingis when I was in college. My daughter took music lessons from this school, too. She quit because she's into sports. Seeing that white Kawaii RX-2 reminds me of the good old time.“

“They are responsive by text, and the turn-around repair time for my simple problem on my Yamaha keyboard (a stuck key) was just one day. At least one other shop quoted a 4 week wait, and yet another shop didn't respond to my initial inquiry for two days. Drop off and pick-up of my keyboard was simple and no-fuss.“
