I had an early morning wedding ceremony so I called her to see if she could squeeze me in for my a bridal hairstyle the morning of, and she graciously put me down for 7:30 am on a Friday to make sure I had the style I wanted for my special day. She was so kind and accommodating and such a genuine person. We chatted the whole time she did my hair and of course it looked perfect at the end. I have extremely thick and super fine hair that REALLY does not like to curl, and she took her time to set all my curls so I ended up with the beautiful waves and half up I was looking for.
It was such an affirming space also, taking care to be a queer friendly, body positive, safe place to come in, in a private room for gender affirming services and the like.
