“i dealt with texis in santa paula from my home in roseville, ca because my sister was in a hospital there. the woman on the phone was very helpful and patient and even sympathetic to the situation. she recommended a particular size, based on the difference between the actual and the online photo. it was very easy to put my order through from beginning to end. and i thought that was the end of it. but then my sister was transferred to the icu and i'd heard that flowers weren't allowed in an icu. i called the hospital to confirm this, and the nurse on that floor assured me that flowers would have to be kept at the nurse's station. when i told her my sister's name, she said she was right across from the station and would be able to see through the glass wall of her room to the counter. i was encouraged. so i called texis again and the same woman answered the phone. she told me the flowers would be delivered soon, and i let her know that the delivery person should leave them even if someone tells him no, that they'd just be sent to the floor instead of the room. again, she seemed genuinely sorry to hear my sister was now in the icu. i told her how much my sister loves yellow and to please fill the vase with a few more of that color. in fact, after seeing the picture my sister sent, i think the florist added even more than i paid for. those were very busy flowers this past week, but they still held up beautifully. texis will be my go-to florist in the area bcause of their excellent quality and service!“
