Marvin Sanchez, Alvaro Perez (father and son), and Oscar Cop formed the core of a construction team that ranged from three to five men. (The remainder were Juan (different last name), and Celso.) They are true craftsmen. The work was backbreaking, noisy, and labor-intensive. They kept up a steady, diligent pace and took pride in finishing in a timely manner. They were quite friendly, kind, and easy to talk with. They spent the minimum time possible on the invasive part inside the house and were careful to try not to track dirt in and to clean up afterward. Manny helped by giving me notice, so that I could plan to be away when the noise got to be too much, or in a different part of the house from the workmen. I learned a lot from the work ethic of Manny and his crew, their good humor, and their sense of honor in the job. I have enormous admiration for this company.
