I had the best experience at this Sephora location. I had a list of makeup I needed to buy, and Yancy helped me find the right shades, compare different brands, and answered all of my questions. I left so grateful to have someone like her make the whole experience so easy and productive.
I just want to take the time and tell you that this is probably one of the busiest Sephora in the area . They are always packed with customers but somehow you get greeted and asked if you need assistance but the staff are sincere and authentic. They make conversations about life and this is so cool to feel this warmth and human interaction is worth mentioning . On top of this , they manage to stay on top of managing this zoo . The store is always clean, products are strategically stocked in their proper places and staff that says wait let me check the computer if there’s any left and I can look at the cabinet . Sephora in LA seems to be suboptimal. I was trying to see if I could get color matched and the associate told me to wait and she would come back. I’ve been told that before so I felt like if they don’t want to help then I don’t want to be helped. She did finally return but wanted to use her device to color match me which didn’t even recommend the correct shade…. Soooo I could have done that myself. After pointing out to her I think that shade is too dark then she offered a different selection. Just not the best experience as it felt like she hated her job or hated helping me.
