“Great service and felt my eye exam was thorough. Marking off a star because I felt the blame was being out on me for a scuff on my lens. The situation... I have Ray-Ban Metas and wanted prescriptions out in. I found out all LensCrafters can order the prescription lens, so it is the reason why, me, my wife, and daughter are now customers here. I already had the Metas, so my lens order was put in. A week later I got a notification the lenses were ready. I went in an hour before closing and the young lady tending to the store popped out my factory lenses and out in my prescriptions. I wore them out of the store and when I got home, I put them away after realizing my prescription isn't effective for desk work. The next day, I did not use them. The next day after that too. By the third day, I finally had time to put in the Stick Tite's so I could use them for up close. As I started, I saw something that looked like a water spot, but it would not come off with my spray and lens cleaning kit. I am always extremely careful with my glasses and sunglasses. It was a scuff of some sort. It wouldn't be an issue but it happened to be directly in my line of sight. I jogged my memory and the only logical thing is that it happened on install. This is because literally, I handled the glasses a few times very minimally, not even touching the lenses. Literally put it on and take it off straight into the Meta charging case, no cleaning.. I went to the store to make the complaint because I felt they could at least admit it could have happened on install. However, I felt the blame kept shifting to me. The man I spoke with would not admit that there was even a slight possibility it happened by the installer, which is absurd because he was not there to observe how it was done! TBH, the process looked pretty harsh and a lot of pressure seemed to me placed on the lense right where the scratch was. I did not purchase the lens insurance, so I knew it was a losing battle already, but it would have been nice to hear that it could have been done on install. When I brought that up, he said when it is installed, it is inspected carefully... "Come on... I was there, you weren't. It was done right in front of me." Seriously, brand new lenses and I was not inspecting the lenses for blemishes. I assumed and it was a costly assumption. If you decline the coverage, be sure to hold those lenses up the the light and inspect every corner.“

“The front desk was very helpful both on the phone and in person. I asked if they accept walk ins and they were able to squeeze us in for an appt same day. Marta was great. Quick but thorough exam. We were in and out in less than 20 mins. She took her time to listen to my concerns. They're located inside the Costco so plenty of parking.“

“I have been going to East Valley Eye Center for over a decade and cannot recommend them highly enough. Dr. Farid Eghbali has been my eye doctor the whole time and he's just the best--straightforward, patient, generous, and kind. If there are issues with my eyes, he takes the time to talk through them with me and makes sure I understand all the options. The office is clean and bright, and everyone at the front desk is friendly and professional. If you hate getting your eyes dilated for exams, they have a machine that will take a picture of your eyes in lieu of drops/dilation. They do sell frames at the office so if you get a prescription, you can get your frames right in the office. They're great about working with me to help me find frames that are mostly or wholly covered by my insurance plan. Because there are a lot of medical offices in the area, parking can be a little tough on the side streets, but if you're willing to walk a little bit, there's usually parking up on Olive. There's also a pay garage near the building. I highly, highly recommend EVEC!“

“I got my prescription here and had a pleasant experience. Dr. Tatevik Mananian took my prescription measurements and checked my eyes. She answered all the questions I had about my contacts and glasses. My mistake, unfortunately, is that I ended up going to LensCrafters for my frames and lenses and quickly noticed discomfort when putting them on. I was told from LensCrafters staff on 3 separate visits in one month that is was me and that I need to wear the glasses more (which I did). Even after explaining to them that I've never had this type of discomfort with my glasses before and that my prescription is the same. They just shut me down. The LensCrafters staff really put it in my head that this was how new glasses felt. My girlfriend then recommends we go back to Stein Optometry. I tell them about my discomfort with the glasses over the phone and right away they bring me in for an appointment with one of the optometrists. The staff here definitely knows what they are doing. The staff and Dr. Kuriki listened to my concerns of discomfort and rechecked everything being very thorough and really trying to find the problem. Dr. Vanessa Kuriki was able to find the mistake that LensCrafters never bothered to look for. The prescription was correct but the measurements on my glasses were wrong causing my eyes to strain and try to shift to the proper focal point. They marked my glasses from LensCrafters and showed me how the focal point on my left eye was higher than my right eye. I had to slant my glasses to the right to comfortably see out of them. They gave me test glasses so I could feel what my glasses were supposed to be and to my relief I felt no discomfort. I am thankful to the staff here for taking care in their work and for solving the problem I initially came in with. The staff here is knowledgeable, helpful, and very kind. They have without a doubt gained a loyal customer. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Also, stay away from LensCrafters!“
