“I have been a patient of Dr Nakamura’s for decades. Not only is he knowledgeable about everything dentistry but his persona harkens back to a bygone era where you were friends with your providers, and I do consider him a friend. He’s also been super generous and willing to work with me when I was in a bind financially or with health issues. He once came in on a Sunday because I cracked my tooth and he seemed happy to do it. He offers numerous options when a situation arises. If follow up is necessary he gives you all the information you need but respects his patients enough to let them choose what’s best for themselves while still offering his genuine opinion for your specific health needs. We’ve talked about every subject together and he usually asks questions right when he knows a drill will impede my response. He’s a class act as is his entire staff, especially Edsi (spelling?) whom I have most of my dealings with. She’s an absolute doll. His dad jokes get surprisingly more tolerable as the Novocain increases.“
“I've suffered sleep issues throughout my entire life, resulting in fatigue, brain fog, and concentration issues despite having consistent nights of 8 hours of sleep. My sleep study shows a 1 AHI but 14 RDI. I've been able to remediate most of it with a MAD and CPAP but I still had issues lingering in my mind - was it my chin causing the issue? Or palate or tongue? Maybe the nasal airway? Will i need surgery? Can i further optimize my sleep? I found Dr. Chenin through Google and found that he's aware of UARS and has extensive knowledge with CBCT scans. I wanted to get to the root of my problem, so I ordered a CBCT scan + consult through him. Surprisingly, I discovered that my oropharynx airway actually appeared pretty large, but my tongue and turbinates were the culprit. He gave me a ton of knowledge and left me with advice on how to open up the nasal passage and how/why to make further adjustments with my MAD. He is extremely knowledgeable, intelligent, and passionate. If have sleep issues, book an appt ASAP!“

“I've had to change dentists because of insurance issues multiple times in the last few years. It has been supremely annoying, but on the bright side it has led me to Dr. Louie!His office is located in a building with a few other small healthcare providers and is pretty small. He had one receptionist working while I was there, and unfortunately she had trouble running my and my husband's insurance - I don't blame her though, we have complicated out-of-state insurance. Dr. Louie actually helped resolve that himself! Another point for him. Once the cleaning began, I was very impressed by how gentle he was and how knowledgeable he was about teeth. I've been to many dentists but I've never heard so many dental and flossing facts while I was getting worked on. He also gave me some flossing tips I had never heard before which I've implemented in my daily routine. The biggest plus for me was that my mildly dentist-phobic husband had a similarly pleasant experience. He said he wouldn't mind coming back for a checkup sometime in the next year, which speaks volumes to the quality of work Dr. Louie does.“

Never had a dentist and his team genuinely care about their patients and needs like they do. He's open to discussing options with you when there is something in need of attention and doesn't push you to the left or right. I couldn't ask for much more.. “[]update*** Glen Park Dental’s staff sent claim on day of procedure (for pt) to Delta Dental, and a week later I received a check in the mail covering around 85% of the out of pocket costs paid prior in office.Docs are great, BUT mid treatment plan staff informed they no longer work “directly,” with delta dental insurance and client must pay all costs up front and then submit claim. This causes great burden to the patient as FSA funds will be tied up in over amount of $1000, thus will have to be paid on non FSA card. I then tried to move appointment and was offered only 2 alternatives in November. Great disservice to patients.“
