Jessie is such a passionate, talented, knowledgeable, mindful, beautiful, & special soul! I left with happy tears in my eyes & nearly cried with joy & relief on the way home while gushing to my mother. Some people may find this dramatic, but if you know, you know & my words are for you.

Not one time, & I'm not exaggerating, has a stylist EVER expressed joy & excitement to have me in their chair like Jessie did. I have always been made to feel like a burden because my hair is coarse, thick, & often very long.. I have been butchered time & again by careless, impatient stylists who dismissed my concerns & boundaries, imposing their beliefs on my hair while ironically understanding very little about hair or its value & power.

Never again. Looking back, it's actually insane to me that I didn't seek out a specialist, naive really though, manipulated into believing my cultural values were silly. People just don't treat hair the way I was raised to treat it.. Jessie is not that way, she is a kindred soul for those of us that understand the true power of long, healthy hair. “We are perfectly happy with Sandy's as our go to Beverly Hills salon. In a way it's fairly stripped down and simple, but they do a very nice job and are absolutely as friendly and caring as can be. The shop is clean and neat with all the usual amenities like spa chair for pedicure and wide selection of products and colors. They pay Wilshire Blvd Beverly Hills rent, so naturally we pay Beverly Hills salon prices. At least at Sandy's, you get Beverly Hills hospitality in the deal. I will keep going here.
