Belmont Optique is a highly-recommended optometrist office with a reputation for excellent customer service. The staff is fantastic, kind, and thorough, taking the time to clean glasses and provide valuable recommendations. The office is immaculate and patients feel safe and cared for. Dr. Kim, in particular, is praised for her professionalism, patience, and diligence, having caught a defect in one patient's eye that led to early detection and treatment of glaucoma. The office has also implemented effective Covid protocols, which are still in place. Overall, Belmont Optique is a 10/10 experience, with great value and a customer-focused approach.
This is hands down the best optometry office in the peninsula. Dr. Kim is fantastic. She explains everything clearly and is both detailed and efficient during the exam. The office is spotless and well organized, and the team here is genuinely welcoming. The whole visit was smooth and fast, and I left with perfectly fitted glasses right after my appointment. The location is super convenient, close to the 101 with plenty of parking. I’m glad I finally found an eye doctor I trust!
Stopped in here on a whim. Ok, a Google search results whim, and boy howdy, was I not sad to do that.Anyone who wears glasses understands the constant need for cleaning, and I was well overdue. I thought I had brought cleaning cloths with me, but alas, in my packing haste, I left them behind.With my vision impaired by what I could only imagine was the grease from seventeen deep fat fat fryers, I decided enough was enough.The staff here are fantastic. I got my wipes, some cleaner for less than the price of a Starbucks coffee, which, on the face of it, probably doesn't sound cheap at all, but I'm talking a tall, not a grande or a venti. Capiche?They even cleaned them for me! Which, although embarrassing, saved me from the shame of knowing just how many layers of filth were on them.Not to be outdone, they even provided me with some solid restaurant recommendations, seeing as I was new to the area.Kinda hoping my glasses don't break, but if they do, I'll head back here in a hot second.TLDR; Awesome staff. Cleaned my glasses for me. Great value. Bonus food recommendations. 10/10. Love at first visit.
I have been a customer (for life) of Dr. Kim's since the early 2000's. We no longer work near her but still make the drive down from the city to get our annual checkups because she is that great. She is kind, thoughtful, and is very thorough and professional in everything she does. Her office is immaculate and you feel very safe. When my wife needed a new optometrist way back when she went to Dr. Kim and also never looked back. We get all of our glasses and contacts from her and couldn't recommend her enough. She even found a defect in my eye almost 20 years ago which she checked yearly through dilation. Fast forward 10+ years and she said it was time to go see an ophthalmologist. Turned out I had early age/onset glaucoma. If it wasn't for Dr. Kim's diligence who knows how long it may have gone undetected and for that I am eternally grateful.
