“We hired Optimum Seismic in 2020 to evaluate our 2 story apartment building in Pasadena in regard to Pasadena’s new Seismic Retrofit Ordinance requiring that such structures be reinforced. They performed this evaluation with the understanding of the requirements and with our hope that we could exempt the building due to previous work done in the early 90s. We expected the city would still require the work, but Optimum was quick and professional, accumulated all information necessary, and proved after a plan check review that the 90's work met city requirements. We appreciated that they were very easy to communicate with as the process evolved. Ultimately, they showed that no work was necessary to bring the building up to code (Ordinance No. 7345) and provided us with a report to that effect. I highly recommend Optimum Seismic for any such evaluations.“

“Nothing that RGC cannot do! We hired RGC for a Room addition/Kitchen/Living Room/Bathroom Reno/new roof and new porch and they did not disappoint. This father son duo and team are amazing to work with. Despite other projects that I'm sure they had Jesus JR was always a phone call or text away for any concerns we had. “We were referred to John Petti at Accurate Builders & Repair by our realtor when we bought our house 4 years ago. We were finally ready to embark on a kitchen renovation Fall 2019 and he was one of the contractors we sought out for a bid. After meeting with him and getting his estimate, we decided that he was the best fit for our needs. His price was fair and we liked his personality. We picked correctly! John and his crew did an amazing job. In addition to a major kitchen renovation, we refinished our floors in the entire house, repainted the interior of the house, and replaced/added/rewired all the lighting in the house. John also re-piped our home and repaired our leaky roof! We had so many projects going on at the same time and he was able to manage and time all of them professionally and successfully. John was always very communicative and easily accessible by phone/text/email. His crew has fantastic work ethic...they were always at the house when they said they would be and I always felt comfortable around them. They were very respectful and kind and also patient with my kids! John has great attention to detail and he also offers some creativity and came up with some awesome ideas/solutions for our space. What I liked about John was he never pressured us or tried to up-sell us on anything. He was super easy to talk to and he handled any hiccups in a very professional manner. “I just used First Choice Cabinets to install Luxury Vinyl Planks for the second time, Francisco the owner is a great guy, very honest and very easy to work with, he's a man of his word. I got a few quotes and FCC's quote was very competitive, he didn't just quote the cheapest material to make his price look good, he took time to help me understand the different qualities to choose from to fit my budget. His installers were on time and did a great job. Being an older house there were a few trouble areas they worked around and it turned out great. I will for sure use Francisco the next time I need new flooring!“

“I contacted Liu Landscape after running into some difficulty with my sideyard and backyard renovation. Crystal quickly scheduled a site visit, and I could tell right away she was very knowledgeable about planning and permitting for my city. This was of utmost importance to me since I had to fire my prior contractor for reneging on promised permits. I requested a 3D design (hardscaping, outdoor kitchen, turf, outdoor tile) and was able to find a lot of inspiration from the company's own website. Crystal delivered the initial design and requested revisions within a couple of days. I really loved the modern design, and we requested a quote for construction as well. Ultimately, I did not pursue construction with Liu Landscape, but this was mostly due to personal budgetary constraints. Her quote was actually very competitive (compared to 5+ other bids). Over several months, Crystal remained willing to correspond with and help me with my project. She even provided a 2D layout upon request. Regarding her communication style, Crystal is quite matter-of-fact over text and e-mails and warm during in-person meetings. It was a very difficult decision to not work with Liu Landscape, because I really loved the design and plan. As mentioned above, I cannot comment specifically on construction, but had positive experiences with communication and design/planning services.“
