Dr. Cheung and her staff including nurse Melissa Vega and MA Melissa Ortega were honestly the best. I went into my appointment feeling very anxious and nervous. This is my first C-section and Dr. Cheung met me with respect and patience. They all took their time during my visit and I felt heard and cared for. I teach future nurses and healthcare professionals and I always emphasize in my classes to treat your patients how you want to be treated. I can’t say enough positive things about them and I feel less anxious going into my procedure. They are definitely an example of what great healthcare workers should be.

It was ok but nothing got resolved. Still in pain and worse in my left leg . I spoke to the doctor days later and he just went over my CT scan I went to my primer and he told me to get in contact with them to see what the next step was so I did and He told me that he wanted me to go do labs so he could put me on A medication I did so and never heard anything back from him so this will be the second time I have to follow up with his office on my own. I think if I’m a patient, they should be following up with me to see how I am and to let me know that I need to go and pick up medication that he prescribed. If he did so . Poor communication for sure

I was seen in the Kaiser Permanente Allergy department last week for a condition that has long been a problem. I cannot express how amazing this visit went, from the medical assistant, Dewi, to the doctor himself, Dr. Schend, my interactions and experience was top notch. Dr. Schend was the BEST doctor I have ever seen at KP in the 17 years I’ve been a member. They both came in and introduced themselves, sat down with me and asked me questions in a calm and polite manner. I did not feel rushed, and I did not feel like they were trying to hurry.
