Well I was very nervous, but the minute I walked through the doors, that faded away. From the front desk , my registration nurse Lori, the RN Art, and meeting DR Salas, I was actually at peace. They all have respect, compassion, and the goal to help me get better! Thank you very much AIS I really appreciated all of you as my journey is just beginning.
Dr. Naseem explained and answered questions I had. She explained what the results of my tests meant. She also discussed what the differences between Smoldering Multiple Myeloma (which I have) and Multiple Myeloma. She helped me understand what has to happen in my body to cause progression of the myeloma.
