“I had my second massage at Serenity today and I think this is my new go-to place! I used to go to a similar, small place in San Mateo, but decided to find something closer to home. I've been to Watercourse Way but prefer a smaller operation. Katie at the front desk is always so friendly and warm! She even texted with me once when I missed the waiting list email to try to fit me in when they had cancellations! She offers water before and after your massage and a free mask even if you already have one (cute masks to top it off!) :-) I had my first massage with Manee and she had a great technique and flow! My second massage was with Shannon and she was great as well! Shannon was able to tell I clenched my jaw based on how my shoulders felt and gave me a jaw/face massage which I've never had! Both were great massages!Scheduling is easy and so is paying/tipping! Try them out!!“

“My facial at Lorena’s home studio was my first. It was a completely new experience for me and I was not disappointed. Lorena was as gracious as she was professional. I enjoyed a customized Ageless Facial (XO8+LED, Ultrasound, micro-current and Oxygen Infusion) which was followed by a Retinol Mask. Already, my skin looks and feels healthier. In addition to my treatments, Lorena instructed me on how to use retinol as part of my regular skin regimen and stressed the importance of a gentle daily cleanser, moisturizer, and SUNSCREEN! She is not only super accommodating with bookings and very fair with pricing, but she is just overall amazing as what she does and you can tell she loves doing it. When I first met her I has calcium deposits similar to "ball like white heads" under my eyes (VERY close to my eyeball) that a dermatologist would charge crazy amount to get rid of and she did it in only a session or two. After that I was so impressed I never saw anyone else. She always makes me feel so warm and welcome and I've been seeing her for YEARS. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my skin. Try her out, you 100% wont be disappointed.“

“I'm picky and have seen a lot of friends and family get very bad eyebrows. For a good job, I think you need great ink that doesn't fade into a strange red or blue color, and very importantly, a professional who has the artistic ability to make you look good. Every face is unique and mine is not symmetrical so finding someone who can make it look more symmetrical without being weird can be tough - takes me a while to do my own makeup! I finally settled with Anna and have come back to do a touch up a few years later. Even my facialist it's said it looks natural and is well done. It makes getting ready in the mornings so easy. I wholeheartedly recommend Anna.“

“I've been getting facials and other services from both Kristen's for years (Kristen Marie & Kristen Dudum). They are both amazing!!! They are so gentle and inform you of the process every step of the way. You can easily book with them on their website. Their location in San Mateo is easy to find and has an ample amount of street parking. Inside their rooms, it is very peaceful and relaxing. Some of the services I have tried from them have been - nano-infusion, derma planning, peels, back facials, regular custom facials and most recently a hydraderm facial, which was great! I've always had problem skin and it's honestly never looked better. I've even gotten compliments for the first time in years. As an added bonus, they have a stamp card so you can receive a service for 25% on your 6th visit. Thank you so much, Kristen & Kristen!!“

As a guy it's a little uncomfortable to find a place where you feel relaxed and I have had the opportunity to see each of the technicians and they have been amazing. They each have tricks to make it comfortable and not too painful. The Redwood City studio is small so only one person at a time, so you are in and out quickly.“
