“I took the driver test. I thought I was a good safe driver. I did not pass the test. I had to take it again. A friend recommended South Pasadena driver school. I made an appointment and took two two-hours training classes with Angie. She was kind and patient and gracefully pointed out all the mistakes I was doing. They were real and I practiced hard to correct them. I took the test again and I passed. The experience with these lessons with Angie made the frustrating driving test process pass easily. I highly recommend it. Thanks again.“

“Outstanding! Highly reccommended!!I am a senior driver who had to retake a road test after failing the first time. My instructor at Students 1st, David, was terrific. Knowledgeable. Patient. He was able to accomodate my schedule for lessons and I was even able to use the Students 1st car for my test.I felt fully prepared for my test and passed it easily. “Gustavo is punctual, friendly, and helpful. He called me a day before to confirm my appointment and he picked me up at the arranged time. We practiced for 1 hr before my behind-the-wheels test. During which he gave me helpful tips to successfully pass my exam at the Lincoln Park DMV. Additionally, Gustavo's Nissan Versa automatic is clean and reliable. The vehicle passed the pre-check exam without any errors.“

“Never ridden anything beyond a moped and I feel like I really got a good foundation from this course. Guillermo and Nemo were very professional and everything from the controls to shifting, to stopping to turning was covered about as thoroughly as it can be in a 3 day course. Like they say at the course though, definitely don't treat this as the end all be all....this class is just the beginning of the journey. Lots more to learn and rather be safe than sorry ?“

“The best Truck Driver school, I got my CDL the instructor teach me everything that I need to know to pass my test , Thank you to Giovanni, Javier in all the instructors for giving the training the I need to get my driver license class A .“

“This is one of, if not the best, trucking school in LA. Friendly atmosphere, and very family oriented. They understand that every student is an individual. And that every student learns at a different pace. They work with you as an individual. Taking time to assist you in the goal of getting your CDL. I stay in Compton, and I don't regret traveling the 30min drive. Most of the trucking schools in my area are no good (Maters Trucking Academy ??????). If you're able, I highly recommend this school to you. It's well worth the extra time it takes to get there!!“

“I’ve put aside the 6 hours with an instructor because of school and during the pandemic I’ve figured that I should get it done. (& my permit is expiring in a couple of months) I called numerous driving instructors in hopes of completing the 6 hours and Trans Oceans Driving School is the place where I felt most comfortable in doing so. My instructor, Sarah, was kind, patient, and understanding. And although there was somewhat of a language barrier because she only spoke Mandarin, she still tried striking up conversations and ultimately was in it to help her students succeed. There were many times where she asked if I needed a water break or anything really. After having multiple negative encounters with past instructors (rudeness, don’t text back, very high pricing, forgot to pick me up...) and finally contacting Sarah from Trans Ocean is surreal. In addition to all the positives, pricing is the lowest out of all the other instructors that I have worked with which is a huge +. Props to Sarah, definitely recommend if you want to learn how to drive & get those hours completed!“

“I would like to send a shout out to my camino real trucking fam. I had the best experience and training from camino real and I am so forever grateful for the training I received there, as I am currently OTR driver & making a salary that has been life changing. The staff from my girl Alicia in the office to Johnny on the yard Fernando who I had my BTW training with to Vanessa and never forgetting my girl Veronica who is no longer there but dearly missed. Thanks to your dedication to students who truly want to complete the program, I like many others was able to succeed in this endeavor and successfully complete the training with the proper skillsets required to obtain employment as a commercial A driver & in less than a year become an OTR driver where I now have a 6 figure salary. Much love to you all & thanks again for all your help, support and encouragement throughout the process. Keep up the outstanding work you do in helping to change lives and properly training drivers to keep America going.Did I mention going to Camino Real didn't feel as if I was in training with staff that felt like strangers or individuals that didn't care beyond their job & getting their paycheck. It felt like I was amongst family that was pushing to see me win who supported me to that extent. It gets no better than thatMuch love Camino Real“

“Prior to taking lessons at this driving school, I took about six lessons with another instructor closer to where I live (Lincoln Heights) and it was a terrible experience. The instructor didn't give me enough info when it came to certain situations and he always kept telling me to just do as I was told. In addition, I failed my behind the wheel test twice at the Lincoln Park DMV (they have a reputation of failing a lot of applicants) because I'm a very anxious driver and my instructor didn't help with the constant screaming and the constant "Why are you so nervous? This is easy!!" taunting. The whole experience turned me off from driving for well over a year. I had retaken the written test and got my permit four months after but left it there to collect dust because I just DREADED driving. It wasn't until two months before the expiration of my permit that I decided to schedule three lessons with this driving school. The rates were twenty dollars cheaper per lesson comparing to the last school so I thought "Why not?" I had Vincent as an instructor and he was almost a breath of fresh air. He was patient, helped me quickly rebuild my driving confidence and gave me a ton of helpful info that'll stick with me for a lifetime. His accent is a little more on the thicker side so be mindful of the fact that you do have to listen carefully. My behind the wheel test was at the El Monte DMV on the exact same day my permit was supposed to expire and I successfully passed it! The minus one star is for the car as it's a little smelly. Also, scheduling lesson times can be a tad troublesome as they may not have a set time for you right away. Vincent also sometimes runs about half an hour late. There was an instance where he even ran nearly an hour late so it's quite inconvenient because you're forced to plan around his schedule. Not really cool. However, despite all of that, I'm glad I'm finally licensed and I wanna give credit to this school for making that happen.“
