Today, D&L cut down a moderately sized pine tree on my property in Lake Riverside Estates. I selected them based on Google reviews and on their bid for the project, which was quite a bit lower than that from a service I've used before. Domingo and Lucia arrived with a minimum of equipment: climbing gear, saws, and a chipper. They were the only crew: no helpers. These things certainly helped explain why their bid was so reasonable. Domingo did the climbing and cutting, while Lucia managed the fall and fed the chipper. Very efficient. I noted the care they took to protect themselves: Domingo very carefully placed his safety belts, feet and spikes, and cutting locations and angles, while Lucia showed great respect to the dangerous chipper. As a homeowner, that greatly reduced my fear that they might get injured on my property. They completed the project exactly as we agreed, cleaned up well, and left me satisfied. Their 24 years of experience was very evident.
