My 12 year-old son got a haircut from Takuma-san. It was our first time today, but we are very happy with how everything turned out. Haircut: My son usually gets a haircut when we go to Japan. Today I showed Takuma-san photos that were taken when my son got a haircut in Japan last couple of times. Takuma-san was able to recreate it very well. He paid attention to details and spent almost an hour on him. Given the quality and the time spent, I thought the price was more than reasonable. It was 26CAD (approx. 20USD) plus tax and a tip. Appointment: It was easy to get an appointment. I called a little over a week before the appointment. I was able to get the time I wanted. Parking: Free on-site parking (see their webpage). I have had a hard time finding a good hair stylist for myself over the years. Finally I have found one. Ayaka at Misako Hair Studio. The experience was excellent and Ayaka is an amazing, beautiful person and a fantastic hair stylist.
