Doina's All Season Tailoring

I've been getting my clothes (e.g., pants, dress shirts, coats) tailored by Doina for 20+ years and she's consistently done top notch work, usually with a very quick turnaround. Highly recommend.

My family and I have been coming to Doina for years! Doina is a friendly, lovely and knowledgeable seamstress who works quickly at a fair price.

Doina has hemmed our pants, skirts, and dresses with different styles and materials (e.g. chiffon, satin, cashmere). She has also fixed holes in our sweaters. We are so grateful to have a tailor who we can trust with our beloved clothing!

My most memorable experience was when she shortened an elaborate beaded floor-length dress for me - she finished it within a week, just in time for my gala! At the event, I received several compliments on my dress, which is only a testament to the quality work that Doina provides.

I’ve been getting my clothes hemmed/tailored by Doina for almost 20 years. From workwear, to hemming jeans to formal dresses (including letting out a bridesmaids dress of mine after finding out I was pregnant after the dress had been ordered) she’s always been very helpful and informative. I find she does a very good job to setting realistic expectations and coming up with solutions when needed (like with the dress). I’m always amazed with her work, and her attention to detail is unmatched by others in the Richmond area!
