At a chiropractor treatment session, Dr. Cho reminded me about a mole on my heel—a mark I had for many years. My previous family doctor had also advised me to keep an eye on it, but since it hadn’t changed much over time, I paid little attention. Thanks to Dr. Cho’s sharp observation, I took a closer look and noticed a change in its shape. My current doctor performed a biopsy three weeks ago. I received a call two days ago with the results: thankfully, it isn’t cancer. However, the biopsy did reveal melanoma cells, which carry about a 1% chance of developing into cancer over many years. I’m incredibly grateful for Dr. Cho’s attentiveness. His diligence and care went above and beyond his duty. Kudos to Dr. Cho for exemplifying the kind of proactive and compassionate healthcare that NSSM stands for. Thank you Dr Cho.
