We feel so lucky to have found Purcell. We chose one of their designs and worked with their team to modify it to fit the needs of the land. Hart and the team were easy to work with from the beginning. Best of all they followed through on all of their commitments and when small mistakes happened they took full ownership and fixed them quickly. They were on budget and on time. We have been living in our home for nearly two years and couldn't be happier with the outcome.
These guys came on a sunday with no notice to clear my clogged pipes. What might have been an easy job turned into digging up the yard, pulling out all the old plugged pipe, putting new pipe in. They were here well into the night. Committed to get the job done and I couldn't be more grateful. They are professional all around top notch! Highly recommend.

We recently had our popcorn ceiling fixed with new gyprock. Got a very reasonable quote from Dr. Drywall and went with them. The guys were very efficient, professional, hard working, and had excellent work skills. The final outcome was amazing and we were very pleased. Ryan was awesome, he came the next day, and although he didn’t have the part right away to fix my broken spring, he got me going until the part came in. He came and fixed it as soon as it did, and did some additional maintenance to improve the operation of my garage door.

I moved to Nelson from Vancouver about five months ago and have had two haircuts with Bailey since. I’ve never left a salon review before, but I’m so thrilled with my hair both times that I had to share. It’s been a while since a haircut truly wowed me, and I’ve tried many salons at various price points over the years. These last two haircuts with Bailey are hands down my all-time favorites—they’ve got me excited about my hair again. I left the salon loving my hair and continue to love it every day.
The salon itself is adorable, and Bailey is incredibly sweet and extremely talented. I’m not the best at explaining what I want, but she was patient and guided me through options that would work best for me. I’ve faced some health challenges that have affected my hair and self-esteem, but Bailey was so non-judgmental that I felt comfortable sharing my struggles. She helped me find a practical solution to keep my hair longer, and I left feeling pretty instead of anxious like I did when I entered the salon.
As long as Bailey is working and I’m in Nelson, I’ll be her client. Highly, highly recommend!

Amazing! Got a glow facial for my birthday and the whole experience was great and relaxing . I can’t remember who it was but her energy was super healing and lovely ! And for me it felt like enough time and my skin looked amazing after. Then she gave me samples on the way out which I love ! Especially the calendula lotion. I don’t live in Nelson unfortunately or I’d go back every week for one :)
Dom did a fantastic job with listening to how I wanted my pixie cut to look and then he made it look just right!! I was very pleasantly surprised with my experience at the salon today, I will definitely go back and have him keep my cut looking good! ?

I get my lashes tinted here and Sparrow always does an amazing job. The dye lasts forever and the space is very welcoming , warm and relaxing. Tonight, she gave me a little Christmas goodie bag and a fresh rose to bring with me for the sweetest extra touch! Highly recommend :)

We were having some issues with our furnace filters so I called Micah’s. Spoke with a very nice receptionist and after a brief conversation she told me a service person would be right out. To my surprise he arrived shortly after, we chatted and he went to inspect the situation. What a friendly and knowledgeable technician, he explained everything very clearly and said replacement filters are on order. After more conversation we decided to have Micah’s service our whole HVAC system in the spring and fall. What a big relief to have professional service take care of this and no more worry for us. We would highly recommend Micah’s for anyone needing this service.

I was never really into chiropractors until I went to Active Balance and had an appointment with Tyler. He is on the cutting edge of where chiropractic practice meets the latest in neuroscience. He really understands the concept of the whole body connected. I appreciate so much his understanding of this! He also explained things so well to me so that I really understood what was happening in my body. The reason why I was having pain and what other parts of my body were the origin. He also gave me excellent exercises to do at home. He really is amazing.
