Jason Ness and I worked on a time-sensitive project on Gabriola Island where a group of trees failed at the base in a windstorm and landed on a house. Thankfully it was vacant at the time. We prepared for the worst and hoped for the best as we carefully removed the trees from the deck, gutter, and roof.
