David's team was at our house in the mid morning and they were done installing our new gutters by 3:30. They were fast to get here, efficient with their time onsite, honest, and great to communicate with.
My husband and I are so extremely happy with our new laminate floor. Bob and Benda both did a remarkable job, the details they took in the preparation of the site to the underlayment and the final installation was very clean fast and organized. They were on the job when they promised and always left well organized, and cleaned up the site as they went along, which was much appreciated.The estimate included everything was exactly as promised, no hidden charges. We had 3 decks that needed some tlc. Two of them 3 years' old, the other just 2. It was time for them to be prepped with varnish to keep out wet Victoria winter weather. Shaan was recommended by our amazing painters who had worked on our renovation a few years' earlier. What an efficient and thorough young man he is. So happy with the recommendation and the work done. It took the expected amount of time, 3 days start to finish. They even skipped lunch one day which made me feel bad. Two workers, both good people, thoughtful and considerate, also incredibly hard working and efficient. Great tidier uppers too at the end of each day. Shaan would be along a few times a day, most days. He always has his finger on the pulse. And a working team to manage which I'm certain he does admirably. I'd think he has a pretty contented staff too. He has an approachable manner, is a good communicator and definitely a touch of humour under all that! It rained the day after they left. It did what it said on the tin and we now have water beading on each deck rather than absorption. Would 100% recommend this particular SE Painting outfit. We'd use them again in a heartbeat.
My wife and I have owned a home near Parksville since October 2000. Because I am absolutely lacking in DIY skills, we have used the services and talents of approximately 10 handymen in the last 23+ years. Exactly 2 of those handymen would qualify as types that do it all and do it extremely well. The first of those two highly talented individuals retired from doing handyman work a few years ago to take a full-time designer job. The other of those two highly talented individuals is Shawn Campbell of Campbellot Renovations. He usually works with his best friend Joel. Together they truly are a team that does everything you ask them to do and completes it at a very high level of quality. At our house, they have done a lot of carpentry, painting, a bit of plumbing for which Joel is licensed, basic electrical work including changing fixtures and problem solving a plug that wasn’t working, all types of yard work, completely cleaned out our clogged pond, installed pond pumps, created a small but very aesthetic waterfall for the pond as well as discovered and sealed up an opening which rodents were using to enter the house. They have commented that they like to do a lot of different tasks because it makes their work more interesting. Shawn displayed great creativity in designing the 10 foot waterway for the water to eventually fall into our pond. Recently because I was unavailable to do so, I asked Shawn to take the ferry to Vancouver to pick up an item too large for my car. Of course he did so and in the process delivered the item to my house for a cost that was several hundred dollars less than I would've had to pay the regular delivery service.They also do complete renovations of any and all rooms in a house, but we had already had our internal renovations done before we even knew of their existence. But if that's a need of yours, I highly recommend them for any and all kinds of work in the house or outside it. We intend to use their services and talents for as long as we own our house.Shawn and Joel are both very personable as well as very attentive to detail and the precise instructions you give them. Once again, if it's not already completely obvious by the tone and facts of my note, I recommend them very highly for any and all skilled labor you need around the house.Lee Carter

Sprint Electric Services recently completed installation of our solar panels and top-rated Pointguard (Sigenergy) battery system. Their in-house journeyman electricians were key in an impressive installation. The system works as advertised, with battery making for more power combinations to enhance output, sell to grid, and provide seamless backup if hydro grid is down. The system software is easy to use and provides in-depth system real-time information. Going with more solar panels and the bigger (& easily expandable) battery, was a good move.
Had such a wonderful experience here. After moving from Alberta and cautious on where to go. The ladies here were absolutely amazing from the moment I walked in. I had Botox done by Alyssa and she is so knowledgeable, friendly and made the whole procedure a great experience. Highly recommend and will be back for other treatments. They also carry the Skin care I use which made it all a bonus.
I was having ongoing problems with my vehicle and took it to the dealership first. They were unable to properly diagnose the issue and eventually told me it was probably my transmission and that it would need to be replaced.?
I decided to get a second opinion and brought it to C&S. After checking the codes on my vehicle, they explained that my transmission is actually fine and that the real issue is electrical, not mechanical.
C&S was honest, thorough, and didn’t try to sell me an unnecessary repair. Very honourable and trustworthy business. I’m extremely glad I went there for a second opinion and would highly recommend them.?
