We had 3 decks that needed some tlc. Two of them 3 years' old, the other just 2. It was time for them to be prepped with varnish to keep out wet Victoria winter weather. Shaan was recommended by our amazing painters who had worked on our renovation a few years' earlier. What an efficient and thorough young man he is. So happy with the recommendation and the work done. It took the expected amount of time, 3 days start to finish. They even skipped lunch one day which made me feel bad. Two workers, both good people, thoughtful and considerate, also incredibly hard working and efficient. Great tidier uppers too at the end of each day. Shaan would be along a few times a day, most days. He always has his finger on the pulse. And a working team to manage which I'm certain he does admirably. I'd think he has a pretty contented staff too. He has an approachable manner, is a good communicator and definitely a touch of humour under all that! It rained the day after they left. It did what it said on the tin and we now have water beading on each deck rather than absorption. Would 100% recommend this particular SE Painting outfit. We'd use them again in a heartbeat.
Matthew Wood and his team of highly responsible and competent painters are a pleasure to have on site and complete every task efficiently, going above and beyond expectations without any word needed! Depsite being a group of university painters, I found that they were mature well beyond their years and their professionalism was outright impressive. If you are someone who is looking to get their house painted, whether exterior or interior (maybe even both!), Matthew Wood and his crew are my first recommendation. I recently had Scholars Edge Painting under the direction of Oliver Magnus Paint the exterior of our 3000Ft. home in Sturgeon County Alberta. They were a pleasure to deal with, and total Professionals to deal with. We had a comlete color change that turned out amazing. The site was cleaned up upon completion of each days work. All three men working on the job went above and beyond with all three checking regularly if I was satisfied with the job being done. I was completly satisfied and would give Oliver and his Crew a five star rating as that is the highest number of stars available. A very pleasant experience and satisfied Customer Rob Parry
