I was referred to this clinic from my usual vet when my Sphynx had an emergency bowel obstruction. They were able to get her in the same day, just within a couple hours of me calling. They saved her life and she and I will forever be grateful! All the staff were so kind and understanding when I was nervous about leaving her in their care for the emergency visit. They called me immediately if they had any questions about how they should proceed, so I was never left waiting and wondering. I appreciate being given choices in a clear concise way. I was referred to Neighbourhood Veterinary by my regular clinic during an emergency with one of my ferrets. They were able to squeeze me in quickly, and kept me updated on his condition.Unfortunately, my little guy earned his wings that day. I very much appreciate how informative and compassionate the vet that cared for him was. I regret I do not recall her name (it was a very rough day). She was very detailed with her findings, shared her love for rats and their similar unfortunate health issues, was wonderfully patient and gentle. Sun. the 25-Jun-23 my GSD/Corso began showing signs of what could've been GVD. They were the Emerg Vet oncall & wasted no time in getting him in and seeing what the problem was. We could tell by xrays that there was at least a partial blockage, but concern was for a mesenteric torsion. They operated & did an incredible job. A few hours later we were going home.I couldn't be more grateful to the phenomenal staff. My baby boy's doing great & healing really well. Thank you for saving my baby boy. ❤️❤️
