We are so glad we hired Black Birch Contracting to do the replacement of our stairs at the back of our home. We can’t say enough about the quality and attention they give to their projects. After seeing what a great job they did for our neighbour we knew we had found a contractor who was top notch and could provide the superior craftsmanship we were wanting.
Marcus told us that their goal is having a reputation for giving their customers superior workmanship and a top quality finished product. He isn’t kidding! Our son had his stairs replaced by a different company and the job turned out so bad that the entire project is being completely torn out and has to be redone. 100% amazing. she made me look gorgeous for my wedding day. She did my mother's sisters and all of my bridal party's hair. When I got home at night and looked in the mirror it's still looked perfect. She was friendly charming and even wonderful to my flower girl. And when disaster struck, and I discovered the back of one of my earrings was missing. She quickly hopped in to hero mode and put an extension bed on the back of my earring. It worked the earring stayed in all night. I can't thank her enough for helping make my wedding day the perfect day.

Marie is a saint. She is so good at her job that hubby has to call ahead and make sure she has an opening before we drive over. She knows what he wants and she even keeps track of what products he likes and doesn't like for future visits. I haven't even met her and Iove her. Got my hair cut by a barber out of barber school (James i think?) and he's phenomenal. Been going here basically since they opened but he's definitely the best barber I've had so far. Pleasant to talk to, good listener, and quality work. Worth waiting for 100%.
It’s always surprising to see people try to squeeze in a full tanning session when they arrive only 15 minutes before closing. When a salon lists a closing time, that means customers should be fully finished and out by then. It’s just not realistic to expect to buy a package, get ready, apply lotion, tan, and get dressed again in such a short window. Employees still need to clean, close the register, and head home, just like anyone else.
That aside, this salon is great. It’s clean, has that classic tanning salon vibe I loved when I was younger, and the prices are very reasonable. Staff are always friendly. Plus, the beds get you nice and dark. Overall, a win-win!

LOVE LOVE LOVEEEE THIS PLACE. I went to chilliwack for a little mini getaway from vancouver and this salon provides the best customer service ever. The lady did my nails quickly with precision and I absolutely loved it. She was very professional and she was very patient when I was I choosing my nail colour (yes I’m a very indecisive person). After the nails, we moved on to the feet and my feet are very sensitive and she was very gentle with it. She made me feet super pretty and I can’t wait to come back here again!

I’ve been going to AJ nails for a few years now and it is the best nail salon I’ve ever been to. All the staff are extremely talented and nice and I always leave very happy.
Requested style: The most recent time I went to AJ nails I requested a French tip and chrome on only the tip and the person who did my nails did an amazing job, hand mixing the perfect colour so the chrome would look perfect.
Specialties: The staff at AJ nails have been able to do any design or colour combination I’ve asked for and it always turns out looking amazing!

Book your appointment half hour after their busy hours so you're guarantee a no-rush environment, it gets crazy in their when ppl are waiting for their turn.

I had my first haircut in my adult life from their senior stylist Jasmine and she did a great job! It was a new experience for me and I was a bit nervous going in to it but she did a lovely job explaining everything, consulting with me and helping me find “my look”. Gave me some great tips on how to treat my hair that I now apply daily. She also cut my hair while dry without me asking which I really appreciated as I was honestly terrified of getting a wet cut and having it come out too short. Just had a walk in piercing appointment with Frank. Was the most painfree piercing I have had and I loved his input on my decision making. I'll be back for more.
Edit: I have never worn a hoop before but was encouraged to get one for this new piercing because he said it is better for healing. This was a huge mistake and caused a lot of issues, which made my healing experience a complete nightmare. The hoop did not allow for swelling of the ear which ended up swelling past the point of room (digging into the skin). But opening the hoop caused hair to snag. I really wish I went with my gut and got a bar as always - however I still stand by the positive experience I had during my appointment.
Took my 10 year old in to get her ears redone today after getting them done wrong with a gun a few years back. Chris was absolutely amazing and so good at what he does. My daughter smiled and giggled several times through the experience and was so comfortable. Totally recommend him ?Thanks Chris !!

I called Dickey M & Sons to see if I could get an electrical outlet repaired and also two kitchen ceiling pot lights replaced asap, on a condo going up for sale in a couple days. I had a sore hip, I had it for quite awhile. The dr. tried several things to get it to respond. It was being stubborn and slow to respond, but the doctor didn't give up. It was sore when I left his office, but has started to feel better as time goes on. I was happy with his treatment.

Jen is by far the best RMT I've had treatments with! Not only is she highly experienced, she is a skillful practitioner who will discuss your concerns with you in detail, and also help you with longer term pain/tension management. Ive had lower back pain for over a year and found out it was a bulged disc in my back, saw over 10 different chiros, osteos and physiotherapists and it got a bit better but i still was in a lot of pain all the time and couldn't drive for long periods of time. I didn't have much hope that this place would help but Rob and his magic needless cured me!!! The needling isnt enjoyable but it released the super tight tension in my back so that my bulged disc could go back into place and ever since I've been able to drive and the pain has eventually gone away and im actually healed!!! Simply amazing ? so grateful that i found this place and ill ever be in Robs debt ? his magic needles really work ✨️

I saw Raj for Manual Lymph Drainage, and was very impressed. He explained how the treatment would go, what areas would be focused on and made sure I was comfortable throughout. He was very knowledgeable and professional.
We were recommended The Art of Driving from a couple different parents who registered their children with them and we were extremely happy with their professional user friendly admin systems and all their skilled instructors. Our son had Karen, Irene, Sue & Daryl and they all helped give their knowledge to our beginner driver who just passed his drivers test!!!
