“This clinic is amazing! I just love Dr Lau, she is so friendly and caring and really will do whatever it takes to ease your chronic pain. While she can prescribe pain medication, she emphasizes other forms of pain control like trigger point injections, diet, lifestyle, stress reduction, etc.. A lot of the services are covered by Medicare so you just need a referral from your Dr, but they also have a ton of other paid services that you can access like Botox for pain, prolotherapy, nerve ablation, etc.
As a side note - around 2016 I was at the end of my rope suffering from horrible digestive issues that our medical system could not fix. They did every test under the sun and could not tell me what was wrong. I was losing a lot of weight because I couldn’t keep down any food. Well, since Dr Lau looks at everything from a biopsychosocial framework, she asked me about my digestion and I told her how I tried everything and nothing has worked. She then recommended a functional medicine specialist (private MD) who found the issue (an intestinal fungus). This woman saved my life, literally. If it wasn’t for Dr Lau, I don’t know where I would be now. She is an amazing woman who works SO tirelessly for her patients and I’m so thankful for ChangePain. The place is also very clean, organized, and professional with the latest technology. This is SUCH a much needed service and I’m so grateful for them!“
