“I am 82 years old and my wife is 72 years old. I was scheduled for back surgery in March but was constantly being deferred until the evenutal surgery in September. In anticipation of needing home care to help with my recovery, my wife contacted Home Instead in March where we were able to connect with the owner to discuss our situation. The owner ( Harpreet) came to our home to consult with us and assess our home environment to determine what we should consider and prepare for. Harpreet was so kind and caring and explained everything to us. He was a great listener and made us feel that we would be in very capapable hands when the need arose even on short notice. My wife would send him updates throughout the 6 months of deferrals and he always reassured us that they would be there as soon as necessary. As it was, the surgery in September went well and because my recovery needs were much less than expected, we ended up not needing to engage the services of care givers at this time. But, Harpreet's caring and reassurance gives us the highest confidence that when the time comes that we need home care, his company is the first one we would call.“
