“I've known Jonny for several years, as a member of the artist community at Iron Key Studio myself. I've always been impressed by her skill with the needle and her ability to create such intricate details perfectly on someone's skin. I've also witnessed her care for others in the studio, and I know first hand she's a person of solid integrity. When I mentioned my desire to get a F* cancer tattoo to honor my own journey, she immediately expressed a desire to be my artist, I welcomed the opportunity with open arms- literally! I sent her my inspo designs and waited impatiently for my day to arrive. At the studio (which, by the way, is in a very cool historic building in Old Town Peoria) she revealed her interpretation of my design, which totally blew my mind. The tattoo experience itself was as comfortable as one could expect. She's very deliberate and controlled- even gentle. The room is well lit and open with lots of personal touches, and decorated with hundreds of her favorite past tattoo flash on the wall. At the end of the session she showed the same care dressing my arm as she did throughout the whole process. You can tell she's a master of her craft from conception to execution and beyond. The level of detail in my tat (with lots of shading, not even her signature style) is insane! I can't express my appreciation enough. If you're on the fence about whether to book her, just do it. You won't ever regret it.“

“I came across this shop a few months ago and absolutely LOVED the spooky Frankenstein vibes!!! The owner, Jason, was there and was really easy to talk to. Probably one of the nicest tattoo artists I've ever met. I contacted him afterwards and set up an appointment for a Fall/Halloween tattoo. We communicated via text and he was always very quick to respond. He drew out the sketch a few days before the appointment and made edits for me a few times. Appointment day came and I was able to bring a friend with me! Three hours later, I had an awesome tattoo. Aftercare was easy since they used the saniderm bandage. This clear, waterproof adhesive bandage stays on for 6 days, speeds up the healing and minimizes the risk of infection. I can't wait to come back for more tattoos! This place is great, highly recommend checking out the artists at this place if you're thinking about getting a tattoo.“

And all she wanted (originally) was to get her belly button pierced which I no problem with... lol but once we walked in I think the tattoo bug jumped on her back. Keagen was super friendly he greeted us and kinda let us know how the shop worked... one side was for tattoos and the other was for piercings (essentially) he was an artist himself a was super chill. As we waited my littlest baby said could I get a tattoo too? I was like No she ran down the list of how much she deserved it which included being and straight A student taking several college classes... I said ask your granny (thinking she would say No in the same way she told me many moons ago) welp to my surprise she said sure why not... after my plan back fired I told my daughter to ask Keagen if he was available and luckily for her he was. He got her stencil ready and prepped his station while she got her bellybutton pierced it literally took him 30 minutes tops and a tattoo came out really nice. I definitely have some tattoo ideas and will be back really great vibes great craftsmanship, and clean space.“
