Astrid is an immensly talented teacher. To hear her music and watch her perform is a blessing. To have her as your teacher, is a gift. She has passion for her teaching and is one of the most talented pianists I have ever heard. Thank you, Astrid for making this world sound a little better.

Astrid has been teaching our 7-year old daughter for about 9 months now. Before Astrid's lessons, she could play songs she had learned from previous lessons, but didn't understand the dynamics. Now she understands how to use forte and piano, and crescendo and diminuendo. Her songs are so full of life now. Our daughter loves going to her weekly lessons!

Astrid has been my girls' piano teacher for over 5 years. My daughters bring different strengths and personalities to the table, and Astrid knows how to work with each of them to encourage and challenge them and help to bring out their best. She gives them opportunities to grow and stretch and perform in different settings while also working effectively with them in weekly, 1:1 sessions. We have also seen her work well with a wide range of piano students, from beginners to pianists who have returned to piano later in life. She has a pleasant and kind personality on top of her tremendous skill as a pianist herself and a terrific teacher. We love her!
