This was our first visit to the Great Clips on Ellsworth and Rittenhouse, but all the others had wait times and closing time was looming, so we gave it a shot. To put things in context, my daughter is not an easy cut: she's neurodivergent, shy and speaks quietly, and doesn't communicate her thoughts well. She's an older teen, so I've trained her to try and find pictures of her desired outcome to show the stylist. The stylist at this location (and the ones at Ellsworth and Riggs)? Top notch. I warn them when we arrive, then ask for their most patient stylist. The stylists have been so patient and kind, and usually the haircut turns out pretty close to what she wanted....read full review

I love going to this specific great clips because of Mark. I’m generally not a fan of great clips because I hadn’t had the best experiences with stylists there previous to Mark. He does exactly what I’m thinking, even with my vague descriptions and little hair knowledge. He recommends me the best movies and he’s so fun to talk to. I don’t even need a haircut yet, but I want to go in just to see him and talk about the last movie he recommended.

Friendly customer service. Haircut was good, not great. Total time spent cutting my hair was too short (5-10 minutes maximum). I was hoping for a little more attention to detail with my haircut. Overall “B” grade, hopefully an “A” next time.
