Chris Cooksey was the sales person who came to our home and sold us on getting our kitchen cabinets recovered and our countertops replaced. We signed the contract in June with an anticipated start date of September 1st '23. We were told that the entire process usually takes a few days to a week but since we were doing a partial rebuild it may take an extra week. They finally came to do the demo and cabinets on September 25th. James did a great job with the cabinets and was very friendly. They are beautiful. I just had a very bad shopping experience at this Home Depot. In the past I have worked at three Home Depots and opened three in two states. I have actually met the original three men who started the Home Depot. Originally they were very customer dedicated. That slowly has worn off. As a 100% DAV, service connected, I get a 10% discount and have for decades. I went into the local Home Depot to buy a replacement garbage disposal. I took it up to the front desk to check out. The employee, a young lady, asked if I had a "smartphone" when I showed her my military discount. I said I did. She said I had to use my phone with a Home Depot app because they changed to this method...read full review
