I have run the full obstacle course of high-end optical stores over the years since my mid 50s because my vision has become more challenging. The Village Eye Works, a family run business, is my top recommendation. I have purchased 4 pairs of eyeglasses from Village Eye Works (3 Theo and an awesome Sabine pair). All 4 pairs are still in great condition. Also, I find that the labs used by Village Eye Works are superior on a number of criteria. Perfect combination of quality and style.

I got a German frame 4 years ago and it's still in perfect condition, high quality frames.
Also, my prescription was perfect.
Now I'm getting ready to get another frame with new prescription and I'm looking forward to visit The Village Eye Works.
We love this Stephen and her staff. They have the best selection of Eyewear you can't find other places that are unique and forward in style along with more traditional but unique frames.
