I thought I had written a review 16-17 years back! Salvador is simply the best in his field. He is a master. His haircuts are both chic and timeless, and his coloring makes it look like you were born with those beautiful hues. From NYC Fashion Week to world-famous fashion magazines, and with icons and top models, he truly is a rockstar in his field. You should definitely go see him! His stylish loft salon, complete with a stage where he plays music with friends, is fantastic and you can rent his space for parties etc. It's a cool indoor outdoor space! My allegiance to The Calvano goes back over 50 years to when Salvador was a wee child and his dad, Sal Sr. , was my stylist at Cutters Hair. Salvador and his beautiful wife, Patty, have curated a glorious salon with an ambiance that brings peace and joy. Sal, Patty and staff come with such grand expertise. For someone like me, who is so particular about my tresses, I feel perfectly comfortable with telling them,”Do what needs to be done because I trust you.” They’ve never ever disappointed me.

Patty is an amazing hair stylist. I personally dread haircuts, but everything she does is extremely comfortable immediately. You don't ever have to worry about "letting it grow out" or an awkward phase in between styles. Her and her husband are also incredibly friendly people. Plus, their hair products line is to die for. I don't plan on using any other shampoo or conditioner ever again.
