PT and OT were great however continued service was a pain to get. My insurance and pcp say it was okd but never sent anyone out. They are Not reliable. MD health will Not help with continuing services despite the insurance saying they will cover.

As an employee in the healthcare system I need to say MD Home Health lacks communication and reliability. I had to follow up several times regarding the Home Health referral for my mother. After calling again; I was informed they received authorization 3 days prior and would now send the referral to scheduling. The next day a nurse called however with the delay of service and my mother’s health history mom decided to transfer to hospice care. I worry about those who don’t have knowledge of healthcare processes; how long would they have to wait to receive care.

This company is highly unscrupulous, for example, when you call them to speak to somebody on either benefits, billing, or to inquire if the company is in your network, the transfer either gets lost or the people hang up on you. Their customer service is atrocious. Furthermore, from what we were told, this company also steals business from other companies that actually do their due diligence to ensure that they are within a patient’s network and appropriate tier. Steer clear of this company and if someone from there show up at your door, turn them away, there’s a lot of misrepresentation going on.
