I’ve worked with Cynthia G for over a year.I’m a LifeStyle Director for a local senior living community. In that time, Cynthia has brought her breadth of talent to both our residents and staff, in all areas: Independent Living; Assisted Living and Memory Support. I’m always amazed at her level of professionalism, the value of the information presented, and her compassion for those in our care. I look forward to continuing in our current path and cultivating our relationship.

Please read if you are looking for care for your loved one ... do not trust all the reviews posted here. Many are from people/companies who work at or with HCA/The Key. We have been clients of HCA/The Key for almost 3 years, receiving 24 hour care for my mother-in-law and (for a few months) my father-in-law. Our caregivers are absolutely amazing. They have become friends over the years. What makes this review a one-star review is the fraud that takes place with the billing department. As my father-in-law was dying, HCA/The Key raised their rates two times, without notice! One rate increase occurred when my F-I-L was in the hospital, and one occurred when he was in hospice...read full review

We have been using TheKey (San Jose) for 24 hour care since October 2022. Aside from a couple of reliable caregivers, we have had poor quality of care exacerbating an already stressful situation. There does not appear to be a matching process or vetting. There has not been alignment between caregivers, staffing manager, and care manager causing confusion, multiple miscommunications, poor continuity of care and additional stress. Calendars (if we get an updated one) are never accurate and there does not appear to be accountability for who is responsible for what.
